There was that one scene where the black cop, in plain cloths, kicked down a door in a neighborhood he'd never been to while brandishing a gun. The whole cast then cries racism when the neighbor calls the cops and the cops aggressively arrest him, kicking his nose in. It was such a dindu moment, and did nothing to advance the plot.
Three episodes in and I’m really sick of the “I’m a black man in a white man’s world” angle they have going with the inspector. The cringiest part is the scene where the rich white businessman is a meanie racist, and literally the same scene shows a black man and white man employed by him as security. Or then there’s the, “they only beat on me because I’m black,” scene, where cops rightfully thought he was a burglar because he’s a prideful idiot that must wear his tweed suit whenever he goes.
I’m guessing this shit continues throughout the show.
Oh, and check out Europa Report. I was surprised at how enjoyable it was, like I was with Moon. It's a "found footage" movie without the jank (because spaceships have stationary cameras.) Satisfying payoff without a lot of CGI wow.
Heh, interesting coincidence I watched both of those movies on the same day. (maybe I was looking for some "smart" or at least original sci-fi) Moon was much more entertaining, but Europa was interesting because it seemed like a plausible scenario.
No. I don't recognize anyone in the imdb entry, either (except for the clip of Degrasse-Tyson. Wish they'd had Sagan talking about life in the universe, though. He talked like he was sharing cool secrets. Tyson talks down to you.)
Surely rationalizing giving more airtime to freaks who hate you, want you dead and your children raped and indoctrinated is the way forward right? Yeah, they've got control of all media, schooling, and the government but it wouldn't be fair if we just dismissed them all out of hand. I mean have you seen the fake CGI explosions! Wowee zowee! I just can't get enough of that good media telling me that whites are inferior and need to either kill themselves or enslave themselves to the based black woman!
I get what you're saying, but it would be better expressed saying you like some shows with woke elements and you don't like some normal shows.
Sometimes people like low quality woke pieces of shit just because.
Give you an example, I liked iZombie because I just really liked seeing Rose McIver putting on a different personality every episode. But objectively it's bad writing for teens, contrived, and descends into full woke by last season. I would never call it a good show, but I liked it.

If that had been a white cop IRL there'd be thousands of big think pieces about how we must defund the police and outlaw no knock warrants.

We're at the point where I can't tell if it's bad writing or the most modern day realistic character on the show.
Thanks, I'll check it out.

Is the guy they cast as Reacher actually a Reacher build? Unlike Twig Cruise?

Good to hear. I have some of the books
All modern media is Progressive. You loose an objective perspective on a culture as you are fully immersed into it.
Not one person has actually mentioned is it good or not? You're just as bad as the left if the political standards are all that matters.
It's all you need to know
It's bad
Could go either way. Taste in media is personal preference. But at least you know there's a chance it's good
That's nonsense, there's many good shows with woke elements, and many bad shows that aren't woke. You're using the exact mindset they use.
Go get vaccinated bud.

He already has had 14 shots up his butthole.
