That kind of setting only works in small, close-knit communities, and even then, needs a harsh and firm leadership within it. The moment someone litters, is the moment that kind of commune is doomed, for it shows that the common area is no longer a point of pride and respect.
I mean, it isn't really excessive. They call in active shooter/hostage situations. A very basic role of government and you generally need a SWAT team for that.
If you give the government a power it can abuse, then it will be abused. The question is never if, but rather when that abuse will occur. Swatting is a clear abuse, and would be a trivial action for the government to use this to deliberately target dissidents.
Due to what call? Any call from any random person, who doesn't even need to be in the general vicinity? Who says they need any actual call at all, rather than just lie about it after the fact? The government being able to send in a platoon of armed goons whenever and wherever they feel like it, is definitely excessive.
So I was perusing the Farms, and they apparently discovered more about this "strange man." Apparently, he is a Trumpian Republican who recently moved in from California running in Tims district in W. Virginia. Now for the purpose of total information, it looks like the dude is indeed a spaz, and were this any other place in that part of the country probably wouldnt have been well received. BUT, and its on Tims own video, they made little to no effort to actually remove him, and no one tried to stop him after he ignored the "please dont come in", so I imagine that wont help in a court case.
And on that note, Tim apparently has yet to talk to the police about filing charges, and this guy is now threatening to sue Tim over this whole situation.
Summarized quite nicely by the one who compiled the data: Tim claims he has security, guns, and dogs that will injure trespassers but all I see are three millennials telling a trespasser not to walk in the house then allowing the trespasser to walk in the house so he can give his campaign pitch. Then they politely shake his hand, give him a bottle of water, and allow him to leave with no trouble.
I was more looking at possible defenses of this guy, but fair point. Either way, I think the dude is a spaz but Tim is way overreacting. And the overreaction is probably why this keeps happening.
If you use this term you're as uneducated as the ree-ers who unironically use "fully semi-automatic" to "win" arguments against "alt right" "gun lovers".
Also, fuck this grifter. He's as bad as Ian Miles Cheong. Not saying he deserves to get swatted, but he's still a grifter.
(Reminder that Shapiro was a Never Trumper, as well. With Shapiro it's like the dumbasses who think they're intellectuals because they watched Rick and Morty.)
They're normie-cons because it enables them to get boomer views and sjw hate-clicks.
I still don't get this. People kept bringing it up like they were owed something. That incident had nothing to do with Tim, it was between the You Are Here crew and "Murphy". What would Tim talk about? Because, lets be real, if it's not a topic Tim can speak uninterrupted for five minutes at a time, what good is it to him (though he has gotten better with this)?
As I said, I don't actually think he is swatting himself, although nobody knows for sure that what's been happening is really that, or if he's blowing it put of proportion for attention and views: it wouldn't be the first time.
As for the Murphy thing, I know he didn't invite the guy on his show to talk about that, and the big revelations probably hadn't even really broken when the interview was set up, but he had Murphy on his show after those revelations, and he basically let the man carry on with his act without even acknowledging that he'd just been exposed as a scheming, grifting hypocrite. And when his own audience in the chat were trying to press him to address that, he not only ignored them, he attacked them.
That wasn't just "drama," which was how he tried to dismiss it. Murphy essentially built a cult of personality around himself and defrauded his followers out of huge sums of money by taking advantage of their alienation and their emotional vulnerability. Tim had the opportunity to confront him about that, and chose instead to lambast his own audience for asking him to do so. And this man has the nerve to call himself a journalist.
Pool is a grifter and an attention-seeker. There is nothing genuine about him. He has no consistent principles, and will change his views and his commentary in an instant in order to accommodate what he thinks his audience wants to hear. He provides no unique or original insight: he is needlessly sensationalist, and he's not even particularly useful as a news aggregator.
I used to watch almost all of his videos daily, but there's only so long you can ignore or tolerate that kind of behavior before you're forced to acknowledge it. Tim is a fraud, and you can't trust anything he says.
People aren't owed an explanation AND Lydia was on with Chrissy Myer the other day and talked about it and cracked jokes at Jackies expense so Tim seems to be the one mum on the situation.
People aren't owed an explanation as to why Tim, who bills himself as a journalist, chose not to act like one, and attacked his own audience when they tried to get him to ask questions he should have been asking?
Murphy wasn't a story, he was a meme and lolcow from day one, it's like reporting on Chris Chan pre mom fucking arrest, entertaining but pointless. Anyone who bought into his bs was clearly retarded and would of been left to die in the olden days, for the betterment of the clan.....The luminal order stuff and amassing power through it behind the scenes, was and still is a story, fraud and who's funding it specifically.
He was on after the revelations about the cuck article became mainstream. I'm sure the interview was set up before that, but this is someone to whom Tim had given airtime repeatedly, and during that livestream, when members of his audience were asking him to ask Jack about that article, he repeatedly attacked them as being hungry for "drama," etc. He let Murphy carry on with his act, even after he'd been outed. His job as a journalist is to get to the truth, which is something he repeatedly fails to do: this is just one example. He would prefer to keep giving a known fraudster airtime and lend him the perception of legitimacy that being on Timcast provides, rather than actually ask him tough questions.
Notice how this shit only happens to journalists that don't follow the narrative?
Are you saying leftits love this shit? NO! Impossible. They would never commit crimes.
lol, Tim Pool is as milquetoast as you can be, and he has to in order to stay monetized on youtube.
Mandatory identifiable beanies for everyone asap!

While maybe I don't agree with caning, one can't deny the effectiveness of Singapore's anti littering laws.
Good luck getting the government to ever admit that it has too much power.
I mean, it isn't really excessive. They call in active shooter/hostage situations. A very basic role of government and you generally need a SWAT team for that.
The excess comes from where and when they are allowed to use the power.
There is excessive government power. The government being able to send in a SWAT team due to that call is not excessive power.
If you give the government a power it can abuse, then it will be abused. The question is never if, but rather when that abuse will occur. Swatting is a clear abuse, and would be a trivial action for the government to use this to deliberately target dissidents.

Telling someone not to enter (or to leave) is enough for trespassing. You don't actually have to say it in an angry tone or remove them.

I don’t like the guy, but I dislike people who do this crap even more. Put the screws to them, bald beanie man.
People just really hate that fucking beanie.

Funny how suddenly nobody's talking about how he treated his audience during the Jack Murphy fiasco.
Not saying the beaniegrifter is swatting himself, but the timing of these is awfully convenient.

And swatting himself? Common, man.

It's a possibility for every internet personality, reminds people they exist and gets attention.

And yet Tim had him on his show, multiple times, including after that hypocrisy and fraud had been revealed, and did not confront him about it.
Jack's been on? Everyone's been mocking the shit outta him for going ghostmode on Timcast.

Yeah I saw that one, not a good look. Has he been on since??
