By making criticism of women a hate crime and anything against women automatically worse legally, this will embolden the exact kind of evil people that Coercive Control gave legal protection to. This effectively means men are officially second class citizens in the UK, with no ability to speak up against their masters.

House of Commons can still overturn it. When a bill goes up to the House of Lords to be voted on, it goes back to the Commons if any amendments are made.
