Even the one's that seem to be entirely misery porn (Kimi ni Aisarete Itakatta comes to mind) exist in their own bubble instead of involving characters people love.
America doesn’t mean anything to them. They have been taught it’s evil, so they intentionally ruin franchises. The problem is their ideology doesn’t create anything and anything that is created instantly becomes problematic because it is never enough.
This is obviously a metaphor for what they would like to see happen to America as a nation. They're not even subtle about it.
They are deliberately trying to antagonize us into another GG-like backlash because they think it'll make them money. Don't give it to them. Even ESG investors eventually expect a return. All you have to do to put an end to this is keep ignoring it, and make sure they don't get one.
