I don't want women in the armed forces because when they get captured, the enemy will be much less inclusive than they hope

I'm fine with women in support roles like communications, healthcare and logistics. Keep them out of combat roles, though. They simply cannot keep up.

Why waste able-bodied men who should be in combat roles by putting them behind a desk?

Women are better in Healthcare roles like nursing, communications (so long as it's not an authoritative role) and are no less capable than men in logistics, assuming it's no job that requires them to push pull or carry shit.

"Not an authoritative role". So what, promote people from other fields and reclass them so they're leading in a field they have no experience of? Think it through.

When did I ever say every field I mentioned should be exclusively women?

I meant 'Better capable in this field than in others' , not necessarily 'better than men'. Not every nurse needs to be a woman. Women and men both have strengths in the medical field. Women have taken the nursing role in combat since time immemorial, because men are best put to work elsewhere. Obviously having a number of male nurses for the heavy lifting is required, but most of those other medics are best put to use taking care of injuries on the Frontline.

What even happens to get you violent patients in a combat ward, anyway? Extreme shellshock?

They used to have their own paramilitary support corps. That needs to come back.

Field hospitals aren't. Nor are comms.

Larping camp followers then.

This isn't the Napoleonic Wars dude. That shit saves lives.

As for comms, maybe only 20% of the Signal Corps actually needs to be real soldiers. The rest can be semi civilians without much change in function.

women on the frontlines.

Field hospitals aren't on the front lines. By definition.

Why not full civilians then?

You never served. That isn't a question.

Because comm equipment has to be carried in the field by men with guns. The stuff that serves as the backbone of it does not.

Why do women need to LARP in uniform so much?

They won't be. The uniforms for these corps are tan or green dresses and heels. Do you even know what the hell I'm talking about, or are you just spouting off?

There are things they can do, and there are exceptional women too. But segregated units is a must.

Well for one thing women have served certain roles in the military for well over 100 years. But also, just hold everyone to the same high standard and let them fail on their own. Natural barriers are always better than artificial ones

The US marines have done extensive testing on the kind of injuries incurred during basic training.

Women are more than 30 times more likely to blow out a hip ligament under strain. That is, marching with a pack or similar. Over all women are much, much more likely to develop injuries during the physically challenging situations of training and then battle.

Even if you did find a woman who could pass the same tests as a man (there is probably one or two) then she would still be very likely to end her career with a serious, permanent injury, wasting her training and depriving the nation of her abilities.

Look, a very good friend was a loadmaster for C130 transport aircraft for the air force. She must weigh a hundred pounds wringing wet. She was great at her job and an asset to the country.

Then she left to have a baby and never came back. Do the fucking math.

Wasn't there a USMC Captain that was the first one through some kind of gruelling combat training and it left her infertile due to the strain on her body, recall seeing an interview with her a year or two back

Most women join the military just to find a husband (and later divorce rape him for the fat pension).

I've heard that as soon as deployment is nearing, many of the women suddenly report they are pregnant and then go on maternity leave, leaving the rest of the unit to pick up the slack.
