Not every nurse needs to be a woman. Women and men both have strengths in the medical field. Women have taken the nursing role in combat since time immemorial, because men are best put to work elsewhere. Obviously having a number of male nurses for the heavy lifting is required, but most of those other medics are best put to use taking care of injuries on the Frontline.
What even happens to get you violent patients in a combat ward, anyway? Extreme shellshock?
