Agreed. There is an unhealthy amount of people in this world who are all in on being leftist agitators. Teachers, judges, cops, journalists etc. We cannot run a successful society coexisting with these scumbags.
The problem is it's not certain states, it's pretty much any and all cities. If you could set adrift just San Fran and LA, Cali would turn red. You could turn all of america red just by 'divorcing' blue cities and walling them off.

This please. I don't care how you do it but completely eliminate the political power of big cities. (saying this as someone who lives in a big city) I think it goes beyond US politics - there's something about cities that brings out the worse traits in people and creates hypersocial pressure to conform. A county-by-county electoral college would mitigate that. Even better if it's based on population-density. Otherwise states can just resize counties to fit their political agenda. New York will be one county.
It's the population density. The larger the group there is, the more demand to make and follow rules. Imagine a giant, multi lane turnpike in a small town of about 5,000 people. It's too expensive and useless in an area with one major road. However, the same thing is needed in a city. Everything works the same way, the larger the city, the more complex and thus demanding it gets. Insert the wrong people and it's a dictatorship waiting to happen.
If there’s an end-game to the vaccine mandate other than control it would be to split the country into pure Red and pure Blue States. Force conservatives to uproot from States that mandate vaccines and into States that won’t. Then we’re back to a Civil War footing and a large amount of wide-spread sectarian violence can be avoided in Dem strongholds.
A majority of republicans believe in equality and are essentially progressive-lite. Also, any urban area will become infected. I don’t think this is a feasible solution.
