lockdowns destroyed 40% of all small businesses

As intended. Now you know why the elites and corporate media love lockdown.

Let's just let Deus Ex spell it out:

In 1945, corporations paid 50 percent of federal taxes. Now they pay about 5 percent.

In 1900, 90 percent of Americans were self-employed; now it’s about two percent. It’s called consolidation.

Strengthen governments and corporations, weaken individuals.

The funny thing is the plexiglass that everyone leans around to talk to someone. No one wants to look through or talk through Plexiglass. We are humans!

If you're retarded enough to believe that you can avoid spreading illnesses by wearing a mask... but not gloves... then you are a god damned idiot who can buy into hygiene theater.

Those masks can't protect me from pollen. How are they going to protect me from a virus?

The masks became a thing because they signal "I am protecting others" and any vitue signal is as we know like catnip to wokesters.

But it is true, I mean they do help stop the spreak of a virus as the virus spreads through droplets of water.

I just regret that Trump didn't get on board with masks. There was a time when they were a good idea, at the start when we didn't know how potent the virus was, and just as a precaution.

If Trump back then had said alright folks wear your masks, it's important, until we find out more. He should have positioned himself as a protective father figure, rather than a general, and he would have made it extremely much harder for the media to openly hate him.

He could have sold MAGA masks.

Wear a msk if you're a true Amerian!

The left would start to shun masks, shit what if people think I'm a trumpist!

They would have nothing to hide behind during the riots, would be much easier to crack down on them as public health hazards.

Then a few months later they'd come out and say that you can take them off now, and the left wouldn't object and we'd be back to normal already.

This is how you defeat them, you can predict their behaviour and stay one step ahead.

And the virus really isnt any worse than seasonal flu that we've been living with for centuries

The whole thing was manufactured to dampen support for President Trump and as a pretext to push mail in voting and rig the election

I dont believe in a big organized conspiracy, just a bunch of individual bad actors whose agendas, when taken collectively, push toward a "great reset" scenario

The virus outbreak was probably quite real, as it scared the shit out of the elites. It also caused deflationary pressure that could have forced the largest investment banks in the world to face a consequence.

Instead, the lockdowns served multiple perfect solutions:

  • A political weapon against Trump
  • A justification to expand authoritarianism
  • An opportunity to shift deflationary pressures on small businesses by literally forcing them to not make money or employ people.
  • An opportunity to take all those unemployed people and make them into dependency slaves for Democrats
  • An opportunity for China Simps to claim that China has mastered the art of defending against viruses

Coronavirus looked truly dangerous for a moment, but it's been a god-send to them.

When it was first being talked about in January 2020, the limited info coming out of china, it seemed like it was a new spanish flu. By the time we realized it wasn't, it was a useful tool against trump.

The worst part was Trump went with it. I think he thought he could deflect most blame onto his political opponents in a self-evident way. Even if he was right he failed to anticipate or underestimated the other shenanigans that ended up working against him. Either way it was a miscalculation that cost him the election.

"It aerosolizes and flies around!"

"I know, a plexiglass box will stop it!"

"Won't that just trap it in an even more confined area, leading to greater risk of infectivity?"

"DON'T DOUBT THE SCIENCE! I DECLARED IT! I AM THE SCIENCE!!!!"

"Riiiiight, so: Masks cause pneumonia when worn improperly."

"No one will ever wear a mask improperly. Fresh mask every 15 minutes, never touched by any hands even the wearer, obviously never re-used, and never touched when worn, and if they get even a single drop of water on them be it from sweat, spit, or rain, replace them immediately. Everyone will follow those rules! SO SAYETH ME! SO SAYETH SCIENCE!"

"Riiiiight, so: Places that didn't lock down saw basically the same caseload increase as places that did lock down."

"NO! YOU WILL LOCK DOWN FOREVER! SO SAYETH ME! SO SAYETH SCIENCE! Also, women aged 18-50 will be banned from consuming alcohol: trust the science. And buy the medicines from the companies I bought significant amounts of stock in."

A friend was visiting from out of town and asked where was a good place to eat. As I started looking up places I frequented we could go only two were still in business. Both larger restaurants. The whole exercise was depressing, and there is nothing more I can say on the subject that wouldn't get me banned or attract glowies.

A mask having microorganisms on it doesn't really mean anything. The question is how much, whether they end up going into someone's body and causing an infection. That bit is sort of like the alarmist news stories about how toilet seats, shopping carts and everything else touched by humans have trace amounts of fecal bacteria on them.

You don't put a toilet seat up against your face for potentially hours on end.

Days and days and days long (the same masks many/most people used).
