This past year has really driven home how little I have in common with these people. I've spent the year trying to make my life as normal as possible within the constraints placed on us by our crazy politicians, and these people pretend they're survivors from 12 Monkeys.
Dude I feel exactly the same way. I’m surrounded by lunatics. Maybe we need to move somewhere like florida?!
I’ve also been cleaning myself up spiritually though as well. I figure shit might be about to go down, and I don’t want to be on the wrong side of it, or even in the middle lol. In any case, it’s improved my life, so it’s a win/win.
Same. Work was becoming a spiritual drain knowing I was working for an institution working against my interests. It was something that bothered me for a long time, but when they started rubbing what they were doing in my face that was the last straw.
Time to focus on me, my family, and my community instead of expanding all my effort on what some multinational wants.
Same. I'm hoping I can get myself ready before shit hits the fan, I'm blessed to not live in a left-leaning state but I have like, 40lbs to lose and just in case, I want to be in top form. You don't see any fatties still alive whenever shit hits the fan lol
I recently visited my hometown and caught up with an old friend of many years. They're a very intelligent person with a good memory...but they droned on about how bad the virus is, how important it was to vaccinate and how happy they were they're getting the vaccine.
His chief concern is that a number of people he knew had supposedly died from it. I checked out the alleged infection rates for where he lives versus where I live now. His are much higher in number, but only a little higher in percentage of fatalities from cases. Factoring those things and his politics into consideration, I could see why he thinks how he does.
It really is that simple to people: "It's one of those every-hundred-years viruses; and when everyone is vaccinated, we can start moving on."
Second, they don't care. Only bad people get sick with COVID. They had their 'jab', and that makes them good people, which means they are not going to get sick. The same thing happened when they protested to kill cops and burn down Minneapolis.
As an atheist, I can't agree; but that doesn't mean that how you came to that conclusion was illogical.
If the Left wanted to convince Christians that they were working on behalf of Satan, they have done that. They did that far more effectively than the Satanists ever did.
There's an incident I think back to that took place in Italy. A mid ranking member of the Vatican was recorded by his male prostitute/stripper, getting dressed for Sunday mass after having had sex the previous night when they met at a gay bar the previous evening.
Don't tell me you believe in God when you're butt fucking gay prostitutes before mass.
Don't tell me you believe in God when you're the pope and you know good and God damned well you didn't just have a chat with God before claiming that God revealed something to you. Don't tell me you believe in God when your army just happens to keep discovering ancient religious relics to keep morale up in a time of crisis. Don't tell me that you believe in God when you say that each church must be adorned with an ancient holy relic in order to be legitimate, and 3 of them claim to have "The Spear of Destiny", each have their own individual spear; none of which are Roman infantry spears from the era.
The people in positions of power in the Church are atheists because if God was real, they'd behave very differently for defying Him so clearly.
Similarly, the elites do not believe in Satan. They believe in their own power. There may be some foolish idiot elites that can be persuaded by charlatans to believe stupid shit (like alchemy); but mostly they believe in their power to manipulate people.
According to Pew Forum, 85% of Catholics believe in heaven, but only 63% believe in hell. This isn't too far off from mainstream Protestants, orthodox Christians, and Mormons. Evangelical and historically black Protestants have higher rates of belief. Jehovah's Witnesses have lower rates.
While I'd probably enjoy the opportunity to do something with what friends I have left, there's no way in hell I'd ever go to a "vaccination party." None of mine would try that.
I think it's the women really. None of my married friends can do shit, because their wives have bought into the fear.
Yep, that's how it is. When women have nothing to lose walking away, it's just always there as a threat. Guy pisses them off enough and they lose their kid and their stuff over it and there's nothing they can do about it. So some of them stick with it instead.
As a man, if you are in such a situation, just walk away. It's your own fault for creating it, but once you've made that mistake, the best thing you can do is leave. The kid can reconnect with you when they are older, and it will cost you much less in legal fees.
It's not about physical force. Don't marry women who don't know their role in life. They only get the power that they do because men give it to them by being desperate simps willing to put up with everything for sex.
Nope, it's brutal. Fun guys and not totally off their rocker nuts, but when the wife demands something she never loses. It's certainly not all of the married guys I know like this, but it's a significant number.
Quite true, take a combination of politics and just the general resistance to get people to do anything, it's certainly thinned my friend group. We're not talking about people that were on the left either. Trying to get anyone to commit to doing anything anymore is brutal, and not for lack of trying.
I've just started finding new things to do with new people and it's working out decent.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned in life is: if you’re wasting time on mediocre relationships, that’s time you could be improving yourself, as well as meeting better people. You aren’t going to meet great people while hanging out with mediocre fools.
The woke left is just a big cult at this point They are desperate to have something to worship, which is why they keep creating new idols and rituals, while pretending they are smarter and better than all those Bible-thumpers they hold in disdain.
Fauci, Cuomo, Floyd, Biden, Harris, and "The Science" are all canonized saints whom the progressive left now worship in total faith (okay, Cuomo has been tarnished, but I still see a lot of rabid defense from "Cuomosexuals," ugh).
They engage in bizarre rituals, such as making videos of themselves in their cars screaming about "facism," "white supremacy," "anti-maskers," and the other manifestations of The Devil in their new religion. They make disturbing musical videos worshiping Establishment figures like Fauci, and Big Pharma corporations like Pfizer. They scream at the demons who go out in public without a mask. They chant. They repeat phrases over and over as if doing so creates a new reality ("TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN"). They uncritically parrot Woke dogma. They viciously condemn unbelievers, even cutting offending family members out of their lives.
I think there is something in human nature that drives people towards religious behavior, perhaps the need to believe there is order to the universe, a plan. This can be a positive thing when a religion encourages traits such as humility, compassion, and forgiveness. But when a religion is based on resentment, self-righteousness, and hatred of your "enemies", you get this kind of batshit craziness.
If Trump was still president the media would have the exact opposite campaign about the vaccines being unsafe and how the right are taking a risky vaccine because the bad orange man told them to.
Funny thing is, when polled a lot of republicans and trump voters didn't want the vaccine even when he advertised it. Personally, I think that he was compromised from the beginning of Covid.
I've had complete strangers while at work ask me if I've "gotten the jab yet" and bring it up with no prompt, like they are telling me they got a BJ yesterday. All excited and wide eyed as they talk about it.
I use that example because you would think it would be a private matter and an odd personal thing to bring up like your talking about the weather.

I recommend reading “the bulletproof diet”
I'll definitely look it up!
Did you lift today? No zero days, buddy, you can do this.

It really is that simple to people: "It's one of those every-hundred-years viruses; and when everyone is vaccinated, we can start moving on."
First of all, is that a dildo in her gift bag?
Secondly, the cult know that the vaccinated still aren't allowed to gather or go unmasked, right?
I wonder if she'll name it Dr. Fauci.
Of course they don't, but then they'll hound you to go get vaxxed because "follow the science".
Next woman who says that to me in public is getting a printed copy of the study into female in-group bias. Follow that science, then we can talk!
Gatherings that advance the correct politics are acceptable.
See: BLM city burning and looting festivals.
First, yes it is.
Second, they don't care. Only bad people get sick with COVID. They had their 'jab', and that makes them good people, which means they are not going to get sick. The same thing happened when they protested to kill cops and burn down Minneapolis.

Almost all satanists are just edgy atheists trying to stick it to christianity.
True, but that's kinda my point.
I think it might be worse than that.

How do you know if someone is an atheist? Don't worry, they'll tell you
Oh lawdy hallelujiah, god's will be callin' me to-a-say amen to that!
I’ve gone that direction as well. Hard not to at this point; it would be an intentional denial of reality.
While I'd probably enjoy the opportunity to do something with what friends I have left, there's no way in hell I'd ever go to a "vaccination party." None of mine would try that.
I think it's the women really. None of my married friends can do shit, because their wives have bought into the fear.
Oof. They know they're the man in the relationship and don't have to enable their spouses' hysterics right?
Physical force doesn't beat lawfare.

dead eyes. they all have dead eyes. every one of them.
Jesus Christ these people are embarrassing
