This past year has really driven home how little I have in common with these people. I've spent the year trying to make my life as normal as possible within the constraints placed on us by our crazy politicians, and these people pretend they're survivors from 12 Monkeys.
Dude I feel exactly the same way. I’m surrounded by lunatics. Maybe we need to move somewhere like florida?!
I’ve also been cleaning myself up spiritually though as well. I figure shit might be about to go down, and I don’t want to be on the wrong side of it, or even in the middle lol. In any case, it’s improved my life, so it’s a win/win.
Same. Work was becoming a spiritual drain knowing I was working for an institution working against my interests. It was something that bothered me for a long time, but when they started rubbing what they were doing in my face that was the last straw.
Time to focus on me, my family, and my community instead of expanding all my effort on what some multinational wants.
Same. I'm hoping I can get myself ready before shit hits the fan, I'm blessed to not live in a left-leaning state but I have like, 40lbs to lose and just in case, I want to be in top form. You don't see any fatties still alive whenever shit hits the fan lol
I recently visited my hometown and caught up with an old friend of many years. They're a very intelligent person with a good memory...but they droned on about how bad the virus is, how important it was to vaccinate and how happy they were they're getting the vaccine.
His chief concern is that a number of people he knew had supposedly died from it. I checked out the alleged infection rates for where he lives versus where I live now. His are much higher in number, but only a little higher in percentage of fatalities from cases. Factoring those things and his politics into consideration, I could see why he thinks how he does.
It really is that simple to people: "It's one of those every-hundred-years viruses; and when everyone is vaccinated, we can start moving on."

I recommend reading “the bulletproof diet”
I'll definitely look it up!
Did you lift today? No zero days, buddy, you can do this.
