This morning Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an Executive Order making Vaccine Passports Illegal in The Great State of Texas! This is very good news and continues a string of pro-Freedom decisions by the Governor to rebuild his image after some very poor, some have said Statist handling of the Commie Cough.
Specifics:
--No state or political agency may compel or force vaccine info/compliance
--Any Public/Private entity receiving public funds may not compel vaccine info/compliance
--Order supersedes any new local orders or ordinances
This not only looks like a win for Texans and Freedom, but it could show that Abbott is getting back on track and learned a lesson. Or perhaps he is tired of hearing about DeSantis. Whatever. Going to take the W.

While I approve of a lot of his recent leadership decisions, sans the Gab incident, I would still happily trade Wheels for DeSantis. DeSantis not only makes good decisions, he tells the press to go fuck themselves with just enough hostility to make me feel smug about it.
Yeha, Abbot is pretty much just about appealing to what he feels is the majority. He carefully hedges everything so it can't come back on him. He's a pretty consummate politician, and I don't mean that as a compliment.
He's like a more refined version of Trump. He uses Twitter as a platform to post announcements instead of shitposting and completely dismantles attempts at press narratives right in front of their faces. I really hope we get more DeSantis types running our states. At least the right-populists in Florida are safe from a lot of the retadation coming from the Biden federal government.
Vaccine passports are already unconstitutional nationwide.
Morally and Ethically we are in agreement.
I have zero faith that SCOTUS will rule as such, even if they have the testicular fortitude to take up the case. Roberts and his ilk seem to like to duck cases where the Uniparty is in danger of not getting a result that works for their agenda.
Doesn't matter until the illegality is explicitly spelled out. Authoritarians assert their power in the gray areas.
They are. But states don't care. "States rights" they say. Also don't forget left wing states step all over the 2nd Amendment as well unfortunately.
Great, now pass the legislation too. Make these things not at the whim of future governors.
It seems the ranks of freedom loving Americans swells by the day. The spirit of 1776 (grumbles in British) isn't gone just yet.
All the people bitching about people not doing anything aren’t wrong, but it’s hard to expect the aggregate to react when they aren’t feeling the immediate effects of tyranny.
I’ll truly judge people’s character when the state’s violence starts.
A crazy cunt on a powertrip who has made it clear through her words and actions that she doesn’t feel beholden to the restrictions placed on her by the law?
Oh, yeah, we’ll have a
TiannemenTimes Square Massacre within a year of her taking charge.New Yorkers would deserve it, and I wouldn't feel bad for them, but I would happily use that as an excuse to go to all-out war with the people that made it happen.
I see a helluva LOT happening:
I think when Joe gets 25ed, that will likely kick things into high gear/overt action.
Of course this is just my two cents. But I see a plan in action. A incredibly complex, brilliantly multi-layered, awe-inspiring MilOp that has me grinning and buying more popcorn!!
Trust the plan guys
Cue.
1776 WILL COMMENCE AGAIN

Do COVID relief funds count as public funds? Checkmate Marxtards!
Seems like a pretty wide exemption.
That's what I thought too. Probably tried to stay within the confines of the law and not order private businesses to do whatever, but a ton of larger private businesses receive public funds in some way, even if just by tax abatement. AG is an asshole that I don't expect will hold back going after one if they try it.
When Texas closed all the businesses and ordered everyone to stay in their homes they didn't try to "stay within the confines of the law and not order private businesses to do whatever."
I don't disagree. I'm not a fan of Abbott at all and want him out in the primary. I'd have to see an extremely strong will to get out ahead of the BS and stand up to it to change my mind. I will take what I can get in the meantime though.
I'm hanging on to threads that the legislature does something. There's a lot of bills in the works to limit the governor's executive powers that need to pass.
Globalists on suicide watch, blown the fuck out.
Hmm, maybe I should move to TX.
We've got open arms for you here, bud. Just make sure you embrace it. Too many people are coming here from Cali trying to make this place Cali2
They already succeeded in Austin sans the sidewalk poop. Seems like every new employee from Cali just raves about how great Cali is. Why did they move then? Because of policies they voted for making it unaffordable.
Might be a good morning to visit r/austin to watch heads exploding. When Abbott lifted the state-wide mask mandate they practically accused him of being in league with the virus to kill everyone on the planet.
That and r/dallas in particular might as well be called r/TexasLeftistOrgy. You're spot on too, I've seen so many comments straight up how they want to make everything like where they came from, or hell even worse that that. There is zero comprehension that you were forced to leave there because your stupid policies are why your job is here. I'm fairly convinced the state is going to be ruined by California, NY, and Chicago transplants. I'm just hoping to delay it a bit.
r/dallas is the Mos Eisley of the Interwebs. I went there a time or two in hopes of finding meaningful information on events in this part of the world (I am in North Texas and in the DFW Metroplex outside of Dallas proper). Instead what I found was a leftist, statist, SJW Circlejerk the likes of which has not been seen by mortal man. Never again.
The houston sub's the same way but i'm starting to see some... not even cracks, outright fissures, people are disillusioned with our retard mayor/county judge, heres hoping they actually learned their damn lesson and vote his ass out.
Houston's got some problems going on with their sports teams too lol
I don't even follow sports and i know our shit's a joke across the board.
Oh, r/denton was the same way. Much smaller subreddit, but the few people on there are hyperliberal. It's really funny watching them all make fun of Abbot's disability when a few months ago, they were yelling at anyone who was making "abelist slurs." This is the same community who was saying that we didn't NEED police, but when a man was caught trying to abduct women, everyone was all "oh, thank god the police got there in time." - bitch, your profile still says ACAB...
The corporations and private businesses can still do whatever they want.
Libertardism
Finally some good fucking news!
