I can't imagine that anyone could read something like this and not realize that it is pure propaganda - but there are always disappointments in life. Likely the majority of people would just read and take it as Gospel, even as they recognize on a theoretical level that the media cannot be trusted (Murray-Gellman amnesia effect).
