So they're cowed and are now controlled opposition.
It's like watching reddit KiA all over again.
Implying they weren't controlled opposition from the start...smh
It crossed my mind multiple times. I never signed up because they demanded a phone number.
The fact that their images kept all the metadata too. That could have been an oversight, but I'm done attributing things just to incompetence.
Probably a bunch of desperate venture capitalists are hoping they can go mainstream
Isn't Dan Bongino the primary investor?
It makes perfect sense. If you wanted to kill Parler off for good, you would post the exact words Milo just posted. Parler cannot survive if it lets people post calls to imminent criminal violence, so either it makes an exception for Milo's calls to imminent criminal violence because he's doing it ironically and hopes its enemies do the same (they won't), or they get rid of the dumb bastard.
It's quoted in the article:
Inciting imminent lawless action is a crime, and Parler cannot control the real world context that determines whether this status is inciting imminent lawless action.
Cool. When will Twitter go offline and Jack Dorsey arrested? And don't forget facebook, youtube and all their respective staff.
Meanwhile, on Twitter you can fantasize about throwing kids into a wood chipper. (as long as you call them MAGA kids)
So he was gay, and wanted to have a bash? Is Parler homophobic? Does it not like gay parties? Or are any bashes, parties, barmitzvahs, shindigs, and/or ice-cream-socials banned?
He was joking and nothing he said was illegal under the first amendment. If it was the fbi would have jumped at the chance to make an example of him.
Now if he said that in the UK then he probably would have been charged because the UK doesn't have a first amendment.
He should just migrate to minds.
Wasn't he like their biggest name, or something?
I was never into Parler, but I did go check out Milo once or twice. That's pretty much it. So, not that my experiences are indicative of a larger trend, but Parler just banned the only person I really went to their site for.
Not that I trusted Parler to begin with, but this certainly cements them firmly in the 'not the future of alt-tech' category. Fucking cucks.
And, honestly, I'm not even really a Milo fan; he's entertaining, but an attention whore, and got kind of bitter. Whether justified or not, it's grating. But he's a great canary in the coal mine. Whether or not I personally like Milo, anyone who bans him is my enemy. Especially if you claim to be for free speech.
Go to minds and gab.
Yelp...guess it was fun while it lasted.
