They are children. They want to remove standards cause they don't want to deal with any harsh reality or discipline or take responsibility for themselves. Seriously any mere mention of anything involving a bit of harsh reality or any mention of anything involving having discipline and they outrage(even when it has nothing to do with politics or "weight")
They don't want to remove standards at all. At least, not for others. They just want the idea of women having to contribute anything at all to the conversation to get a man to be removed.
As for why...it saves them having to work for a living.
If I had all the money for entertainment, I'd push them all into their own city and see how long they could survive when they no longer have normal people to depend on to make society function.
I think that'd be a funny idea for a short sci-fi story. A bunch of grievance studies professors and SJW activist try to create their perfect society on a new planet.
Golgafrinchan did this by filing Ark Fleet Ship B with their useless people, like telephone cleaners, and crashing it onto Earth. Unfortunately, Golgafrinchan was wiped out by a nasty outbreak of telephone infections.
They had an upside down idea of who was "useless", and put paper-pushers and money-manipulating clowns above people who actually do stuff.
First, kill the lawyers. Then, kill the economists. Then, kill the bankers, and all the non-science academics. Then rebuild. But then, revolutions always tend to be full of this stuff, and things always go back to where we are now.
I'm honestly confused, I can't see a way for weight-loss goal to be offensive. I can usually spot their mental gymnastics but I can't figure this one out.
Not looking at any other parts of this outrage, the only thing I can think of is that the mere act of suggesting a woman might want to lose weight is reinforcing misogynistic beauty ideals.
yeah thats pretty much it in a nutshell im surprised people here didn't know this they have been complaining about this for a while(with all the "we need more diverse body types in media " and "its enforcing harmful beauty standards and expecting people-especially girls- to be skinny is enforcing harmful beauty standards making them feel insecure about themselves and makes them develop eating disorders like starving themselves etc. etc",) they have been whining like this for a while.
I suppose they just want everyone to be fat? There's a lot of that science that they worship that certainly says there's a downside to being fat. It's more of the same, quit trying to help people with their problems and instead just tell them they are fine.
I'm fat, albeit a lot less fat than I used to be. How did I ever get in the right direction? I quit making excuses about how it's genetic or I'm big boned or my body type and decided not to be. I feel better than I have in 15 years too. Magic diet, hitting the gym 7 days a week pumping iron, or any assortment of other stuff I'd hate? Nope, it was much simpler than that, I just cut the vast majority of typical American diet processed crap and make a point of doing something for activity regularly. It's not hard at all. Others I've tried to encourage to do anything, well usually they can't or they are too tired or they don't have time. They have time for 4 hours a night of garbage TV but can't be bothered to take 20 minutes and just walk around.
It's not really. They are driven by clicks alone, so you'll get some sane right wing stuff, and some insane left wing stuff too. They were once the most visited news site in the world, so their model works for them.

Sci fi? No. Reality tv. Drop a bunch of them on an island and tell them to build civilization. Watch the fun unfold.
Is she fat? I'll bet she's fat.
Going by the profile pic, she might not be too fat, but the pic might be old, and either way, she looks frumpy AF.
No, but she's ugly as fuck. The fat and the ugly play in the same field, so it makes sense.
We need to restore the idea that ugliness is a punishment for sin. Her face tells me she is a demon in the eyes of the Lord.
Agreed.
Physiognomy is real.
Not all ugly people are bad, but whenever I see a regressive, it's almost always some misshapen lump.

While at the same time, accusing a normal North American of being "fat" because he weighs more than a biafran famine dude.
There is a reason you see so few old fat people.

? It's a fitness mag. Most of the women reading it will have some kind of weight goal, and weight loss has been popular since at least the 1970s.
I have a weight gain goal, is that offensive, too? Or should I just go on being mistaken for anorexic?
Basically since the culture reached post-scarcity point on raw calories.
I find it highly doubtful she would have read them for years and is only now being offended by a phrase like "weight-loss goal".

UK Daily Mail isn't based. It's kind of all over the place.

shut up cunt
She'll get a blue check mark for commentary like that.
If regressives decided to use their rage at fucking everything to fuel exercise, they would actually be threatening in a fight
