So I live in Texas and I notice republicans are winning by smaller and smaller margins. I see Biden may win Georgia and once reliable red states are quickly turning purple. I’ll never understand why people move to these states and ruin them by voting for the policies that messed up their old states.
I predict in 10 or 20 years the GOP will just full embrace the “free stuff” movement.
This is mainly happening because the left has succeeded in their long march through the institutions.
They control all of academia, they control all of the mainstream media, they control all of the HR departments in Fortune 500 companies, they control all of Hollywood. This means that the left generally controls the culture of the country.
They have indoctrinated whole generations of Americans using their grasp over these institutions.
Mass migration of Latino illegal aliens has also played a significant role in terms of shifting demographics but don't forget how pervasive their control of the culture is.
Consider that they actually got a fucking tranny elected as a Senator in Delaware, the same state that fucking elected Biden as a senator.
What can we do to fix this? If we make our own institutions, they stop us through payment processors or cancel culture.
We don't have the time to try our own long march through the institutions.
We are at a crossroads in America.
There is no more United States.
The GOP not including Trump are clearly neocons who are part of a globalist uniparty with the left.
I despise the neocons for just being controlled opposition.
They did nothing to push back against the left's march.
Just look at South America. The US is becoming a Latin country so its morals, culture, values are becoming mainstream. The dominant culture in fact. I am Portuguese and we are Socialist "to the bone". What I see in the US society is the same that I see here: everyone wants to live of the State and have everything for free. The White Anglo Saxon Protestant civilization is an exception, not the norm.
Because of decades of illegal immigration that is turning the US into a Latino ethnostate that overwhelming supports Democrats and leftists who have been so insulated from the harsh reality of nature that they never recognize the failures of their of own policies or ideas.... Not that conservatives (especially neocons) are any better in recognizing the failures of their own ideas. You can also blame hyper-individualism that has wiped out the support structures of the family and of larger homogenous communities to the point where we as individuals have nobody to rely on except for daddy government.
Individualism is destined to failure because humans are tribal by nature. The individualist will get picked off one-by-one by the commie hoards that form in the urban centres. The only way for an individualist to survive is to form collations with other individualists to fight off the collectivists. Too bad our individualists in the west were too worried about hoarding their corporate profits to maybe realize they needed to invest some of that cash into fighting the culture war.
Fraud
Bingo.
We've lost Georgia, almost certain. I can't say why, I think as a society evolves they want more and more government in their lives, I can see why it is happening, life can be scary, there is a chance to fail that sometimes is not fair. One difference between left and right is that the right is happy for the left to have Callifornia and do what ever they want with it but the left is not happy if the right has a state where individual freedom is valued. Most of us just want to be left alone, without ideologies being pushed down our throats, without our rights being taken away "for our own good". The left seems to try to crush the right out of the ideological spectrum.
I wonder if a "major delta hub" might have something to do with all these states turning blue. It seems only states with them ever do!
As always, a single urban sprawl is basically enough to steal the entire rest of the state's votes.
It's clear to me that cities over a certain size should count to that cities states voting patterns. Instead, they should city-states, with their own representation and governance. Urban populations cannot be governed with rural populations, their needs and cultures are too dissimilar.
Poor getting poorer, leftist learn to code bs, decaying mismanaged leftist cities, an entire underclass of rentier wagecucks depending on leftist handouts. Vicious cycle.
If you look at a county-by-county electoral map, you will see the vast majority of the country is red except for coastal areas and urban centers.
From the 50s people fled the cities into the suburbs. Starting with the yuppie movement in the 80s, city living became cool again for young people. So states with large and growing urban populations started to shift blue, other solidly blue states turned red.
Each lifestyle- urban, suburban, exurban, rural comes with its own set of political issues that favor one party or the other.
If you look at electoral maps from the 70s or 80s, they are vastly different from what we've seen for the past 20 years.
2020 with its riots and "defund the police", and work from anywhere movements, might be the year to break the urbanization trend and see a new suburban exodus.
Also whether he wins or not, Trump changed the GOP, like Reagan before him.
And Dems used to be the party of the working class, of Catholics, of everyday people, and they've become the party of the corrupt elite and alienating much of their former base over time.
So I think the political trends of the last 20 years, which people assume will go on forever, will not necessarily be the political trends of the next 20 years.
No, if Trump doesn't win it's over.
There will be no recovery for at least 20 years, and by then the destruction will be on a Cuba, Zimbabwe or Venezuela level.
Boat people FROM America will be trying to flee to safer nations... by the millions.
In the coming weeks going to be having a conversation with my father about selling the farms. Only reason we haven't was that currently if something happens to him we get the up stepped value as its historical cost. If Biden's plan goes through capital gains at a much higher rate would come due. So we're better off to sell now and pay the lower capital gains rate and take the cash and move it all off shore.
Already looking for property in Antigua. You can buy a house down there for $400,000 and it's $150,000 for citizenship on a passport that is valid in most of the world we want to travel.
We moved enough off shore to rebuild somewhere else when the time came. We knew it was coming, but it's here. At the very least I can make sure my wife and little one will be safe elsewhere.
I'll stay and fight. I swore an oath to defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Demographics.
It looks to me like it's almost totally where the liberal imports are going that are moving so hard to the left. Dallas and certain suburbs in DFW and Austin/north of Austin were huge trends towards Democrats. Everywhere else not much. Houston I don't think is picking up that many business relocations and Biden attacked oil, so it didn't really trend any different at all.
I was actually slightly pleasantly surprised with Texas, as I expected it to trend worse to Democrats. But still, I just don't know if there's a light at the end. I look at someone my age and I'm in the minority pretty heavily in how I think and my younger brother is full-blown TDS, Trump is evil, the media is always right, etc. It's crazy because we were generally raised conservative, brother served in the military and overseas even, has had a great job for a decade plus, etc. There's no reason for him to be like he is--well except a woman.
Leftists fleeing the symptoms are too stupid to understand it's leftism that's the disease.
it's by design, same reason they settled thousands of somali immigrants in minnesota
I'd prepare for more of those. Much more.
Because Democrat poll workers have a 6th sense.
