O yes, muslims killing people in the name of their faith is not a problem but being insensitive is one of the biggest crimes today. O no you are insensitive so that justifies death. And in order to avoid it everyone should give up freedom of expression. Got to love this marxists and their logic.

Nice article, muslims kill infidels is not a reflection on their culture or faith is a reflection on the fact that France is secular and does not like extreme religious behavior.

So France likes free speech and frowns upon religious expression in general (head scars and crosses) and they are somehow bad. So now everyone in France should give up the things they have been proud off for 100 years in order to accommodate muslim extremists. In other words let terrorism win.

Nice of AP to call for that. Are this the tolerant and emphatic left I keep hearing about? And lets not forget our intellectual superiors.

Look, it's simple - just do as AP wants, bend the knee and submit to Sharia law and the terrorism will all stop.

It'll stop because it'll all now be legal under that Sharia law you were just compelled to accept, but let's not quibble about details, eh?

AP Explains: Why does France incite anger in the Muslim world? Its brutal colonial past, staunch secular policies and tough-talking president who is seen as insensitive toward the Muslim faith all play a role.

"brutal colonial past"

French forces intervened in recent years against Islamic extremists in Mali and Syria, both former French holdings. Thousands of French soldiers are now stationed in former colonies in the Sahel region of Africa with the same mission.

"staunch secular policies"

The official French doctrine of colorblindness is intended to ignore ethnic and religious backgrounds and to have all French citizens seen as equally French. In reality, the ideal often fuels discrimination against those who look, dress or pray differently from the historically Catholic majority, instead of preventing it.

Muslims are disproportionately represented in France’s poorest, most alienated neighborhoods, as well as its prisons. That has bred angry outcasts who see their homeland as sinful and disrespectful toward Islamic traditions, or simply racist against Arab and other immigrants from lands that once enriched the French empire.

Much of the current anger stems from the recent republication by French satirical newspaper weekly Charlie Hebdo of caricatures depicting the Prophet Muhammad.

Crucifixes were at one point torn from classroom walls in France amid painful public debate.

As the number of Muslim in France grew, the state imposed secular rules on their practices. A 2004 banning Muslim headscarves and other ostentatious religious symbols in schools remains divisive, if not shocking to many outside France. A 2011 law banning face veils made Muslims feel stigmatized anew.

"tough-talking president"

He said the planned law was aimed at Islamist “separatism,” which raised fears of the further alienation of French Muslims.

AP is telling me the French muslims are angry at

  • troops who have fought "Islamic extremists" and have committed no crimes

  • being poor

  • equal secular treatment of religions

  • pictures

  • words

Are they trying to tell me anti-French muslims are beheading people because they are violently deluded zealots?

It's almost like France isn't a country that's got any Islamic history at all!

and absolution

I'm sorry to break it to you but there is no absolution in the cult of SJW. Only delayed punishment. If you are born straight white male you are inherently guilty until the day you day (presumably through their hands)

When a cartoonist draws a cartoon & gets his head cut off, it’s his fault. When a person moves towards an officer with a weapon, ignoring orders to stop and is shot, it’s the officer’s fault. This is the logic of the mainstream media, and why they are the enemy of The People.

Edit: Holy shit, they deleted the tweet. The article is still up, but they deleted the tweet. What is going on at AP?

One of the most influential news agencies in the world is publishing articles that justify the murder of white people due to historic crimes committed by their ancestors. Getting harder to keep saying that whole white genocide thing is just a conspiracy theory.

You know those movies, where a rape victim goes on a killing spree of her rapists?

"Victim blaming" is a nonsensical term anyways.

Sometimes the victim directly contributed to what happened (e.g. walking through the hood at 2am drunk and decked out in jewellery, getting into the car of a person you don't know, or inviting millions of inbred neanderthals with a violent extremism problem into your country). If you can't talk about that and just base your entire perception of reality off of "But I shouldn't have to!", the problem won't go away - it'll just hit you like a truck of peace because you live your entire life assuming that everything goes well at all times.

Victim blaming has been one of the worst phrases that the left has decided is a real concept.

It's probably funny to some people here, since I learned this concept in college of all places. But the idea of co-creating outcomes is one of the biggest red pills I've ever had in my life, and I wish more people understood it. Abusive relationships, rape, getting robbed, etc. While it's unfortunate for those that are victims of them. They usually could've have done something to prevent it, fix it, get out of it.

That might sound harsh, but unless it's literally impossible to avoid. People need to be responsible for the situations they find themselves in. Or that they need to learn on how to keep it from happening again. Not be enabled or told that they did nothing wrong by their friends who don't want to hurt their feelings.
