At least he will never have to see degenerate Hollywood completely destroy the James Bond franchise with wokeism.
I lost interest when they took away Bond's toys. I guess they couldn't keep ahead of real-life technology any more.
As for Connery himself. he made even the most obscure/B-grade movies he appeared in worth watching. And one of the few human men who could actually decently rock a beard and look better in one than without, and didn't look like a total messy bastard wearing it.
Sean Connery Bond was the gold standard.
The last James Bond films I ever enjoyed were the Pierce Brosnan films.
I saw a few of the newest Daniel Craig films and they just were so meh. They completely lost the magic of what made James Bond enjoyable to watch.
Because James Bond 007 isn't just a "superspy", he's a playboy with super high-tech toys. ANYONE can be a fucking "superspy" with normal things and no sex drive. It's why Get Smart was such a good parody of him - all the equipment was junk, and he was totally oblivious to the one woman who DID like him, for at least the first part of it.

I would add that Daniel Craig was not helping my enjoyment either.
As an actor he just cannot fill the shoes of Pierce Brosnan and definitely not Sean Connery.
In terms of character, Connery is the best Bond. In terms of aesthetics, Brosnan is the best Bond.
That was the most frustrating thing about Goldeneye back in the day: they gave him a gorgeous convertible with all these gadgets, but he never uses any of them and hardly even drives the car.
Doubt it, I think they just got lazy. Anyone can simply come up with any numbers of things if they just put some thought into it. You can even outsource that to corporations and let them have their concept product and pay you in the process. Example: New Bond has an iphone that allows it to record in 20 gigapixels, capture everyone's eyes, creates an easily searchable database and use the retina display to create an exact copy to bypass security, all on the fly. The phone also wireless hacks anything in range, wifi networks, blue tooth, etc. Bond could easily use it to hack a guards phone and make his phone ring, thus distracting him. Or better yet, hack his phone and send texts to the guard from that hot girl he's been chatting with. Get him all distracted that way. And the list goes on. Get car manufacturers to do the same, gun manufacturers, etc.
But the people running the show are of course incompetent.
One of the last real men of a bygone era. Remember, if you want to learn the ways of being a man, learn from the best.
I hope he didn't end up woke, because his movies certainly weren't. Anything James Bond did particularly in the old movies essentially became the guide for the classy man. I didn't even mind the newer ones albeit different. If I recall the next one has a black manly-woman or something though. 007 is dead.
He was cancelled long before wokeness could have reached him for his view that hitting women was sometimes necessary.

Can't confirm how true it is, I just remember him getting "cancelled" so long ago that nobody seemed to bother going after him since. He might have been, but it wasn't theater as he had already "lost it all" in that sense.
He did support gun control in the UK in the 90s so there’s that..
