There is a reason George Orwell's 1984 was set in England. I have come to the conclusion that somehow, Orwell knew all those years ago that the peoples of England were predisposed to bowing down to authoritarian systems such as those described in his books (see also; Animal Farm), as well as the parallels to subsequent communist regimes that would rise in the years after his death.

Because while we all know that their is unfortunate paranoid nuts who believe in Hollow Earth Lizard People type theories of that sort, and they muddle the water on whatever genuine bullshit the elites are pulling.
