Most people here understood that this was a bad change and that it was done for political correctness reasons. Unfortunately when i posted about the change on other forums even right wing leaning ones, a lot didn't understand what the big deal was or they even said they preferred the change. It feels like the West has gotten so used to strong female types they've forgotten how to appreciate the actual feminine female characters.

this isnt want they've been doing with kirby. With kirby they only changed the American version. With Peach they changed both the Japanese and the American versions.

They recently changed the box art to make the Peaches on the centre and right to look smug and angry respectively(the bottom picture). To be more similar to the feminist Peach in the movie

No its definitely a feminism thing. They changed Peach for the Japanese version as well, and its obvious they are trying to make her like she was in the movie. Just because the movie did well doesnt mean people want Peach to be like the movie. The movie did well because of the non woke parts not the woke parts
