Same as you, saw these same 2-3 posts being made here, c/gaming, and ConPro, and got an “inauthentic” feeling from it. Not yet sure if it’s forum sliding or what.
It’s a good way to identify astroturfing - the emergence of a single narrative from “different” places, simultaneously
They don’t necessarily even have to, they just need someone on the take with a large following to start the trend and the lemmings will spread it far and wide.
That’s not to say there aren’t literal shills here, just that not everyone who “shills” is getting a paycheck, in fact it’s probably a tiny minority.

Im the second poster and i posted another picture because the first guy who posted about this didnt post the whole picture to see everything that was changed and only posted one part of it. And the Peach picture change is really annoying

this isnt want they've been doing with kirby. With kirby they only changed the American version. With Peach they changed both the Japanese and the American versions.
