My 12 year old reddit accout didn't have an email address associated with it. This was no problem until reddit went public. I recently got a message about suspicious activity on my account, so it was permanently banned until I reset my password. Wouldn't you know it - the only way to reset my password is to add an email address, so they can send me a reset link. So, I don't have a reddit account anymore.
I've long been an advocate for having places in the world that are off the grid. And not just in the homesteading sense, but really, truly disconnected from the rest of the modern world. Sane people need places where the long arm of technology cannot reach.
True.
I went through a libertarian phase, and I grew out of it. You can only be beaten over the head with your own ideology so many times before figuring out that either you're ideologically consistent (and going to lose every time), or that your ideology is crap.
keep the barbarians from either overrunning your borders
These fucking guys couldn't keep the commies from taking over their subreddit. They're not viable at all in the real world. (and this coming form a former lolbertarian.)
I read an article about the woes of the advertising industry in the streaming Era. IT went on to say that fewer people are watching streaming television period. This was across all age groups, so ads were more expensive per impression. The take away is that TV sucks now, and that there's a marked decline in quality.
Straight to that jail in DC where they've been holding J6ers
