Being stricter on immigration,
making sure "refugees" MUST go home at some point,
making sure there is some way to still get the endless money back that was given to them,
encouraging families with progressively bigger tax breaks for more educated or income generating families (because those are exactly the people who we want more of and who can guarantee their children a decent childhood and education just based on personal wealth, so that the state won't have to give them even more money)
I don't see anyone leaning left nowadays agreeing to any of that because those are the exact things they hate and want to get rid of already.
There is no reconciling, the right has already lost. All of this is just squabbling and dragging out the inevitable. Look at what ethnic groups vote for which party and population growth. Even if by some miracle the republicans win the next election and the next president is a republican too - is that somehow gonna reverse the trend? Same in Europe. I don't see any way to change this without radical action nobody would support (no, not violence either)
There is no need for western society to do anything, they will get their judgement by China + Muslims + India. 2/3 consider them only useful as slaves sooo their best bet will be hoping India is nice and just moving to Europe and America
