I suspect his internet shenanigans are just targeted at whatever he thinks will give him more clout with the masses.

Shot related myocarditis could have been the straw that broke the camel's back. Who knows.

I stopped abandoned the second one. It wasn't the same.

I didn't say it was a hollow warning. It was a warning about eternal punishment, not an instruction to drown people tied with millstones.

That was a warning, not an instruction.

Our Lord begged the father to forgive the people who were crucifying him, forgiving them himself, even thought they were not repentant.

That being said, I haven't said anything about forgiveness until now. Love and forgiveness are different things.

Some people swear by Brütal Legend, but otherwise: yeah.

The end result decades later would have still been the same. Arguments aren't really the problem here. People want drugs, fornication and every perversion you can think of. These things aren't solved by arguments, they're solved by the chastisement of ruined generations. Most people only learn by suffering.

Some people are really blackpilled these days but I believe things will get better with the experience of negative example, perhaps after another century of horrors. The maxim of personal liberty that the west was founded on isn't enough to last more than a few centuries. A higher standard is needed and is likely to be developed long after we're dead.

I don't think so. People want to do whatever they want. They won't accept "restrictions."

It's what we call "salvage marketing."

2

That's such a gimmick that it's probably only been done once.

We don't even know how much films really cost, the accounting is bunk. Sales numbers are also falsified.

What we do know is that nothing these days makes as much money or capture the market percentages that blockbusters used to. In that sense, the makers' expectations continue to be shattered.

I feel such suspicion when I see a bunch of people carrying the same mass produced signs. Where were they printed? Who payed for it?

People at war with CO2 aren't claiming that energy would be cheaper if it was all "green". Price and standards of living are of no consequence in their minds. As they see it, they're making a situation in which rational people will have less children due to costs, so it's a double benefit if energy gets more expensive.

Not only that, but Copernicus was the first to hypothesize heliocentrism and he never got into trouble for it.

Galileo didn't have enough evidence to convince his peers, but he obstinately went on and printed his own book without the Church's approval (the Church was the arbiter of science back then), which could have been overlooked, except in his book he waxed literal about implications for faith and matters of God, which were actually heretical. In his trial, Galileo enraged the inquisition with his attitude, which resulted in house arrest.

It was his attitude, his arrogance, and his actual heretical ramblings that got him into trouble, not his defense for heliocentrism.

to love is to selflessly will the good of another. Enabling delusions isn't love.

Jesus said: love each other as I have loved you.

Don't know about Ghandi, but I'm not wrong about Christian dogma.
