There's been a lot of censorship in the past four years from the major tech companies. So as someone else has said, thedonald.win is the new place to be.

Even if they weren't currently better than Intel, which I believe they are. AMD has better practices as of right now. The next time I upgrade, it'll certainly be with their hardware.

Of course, I wouldn't mention this normally. But since it's you, I will note that they have a woman as CEO/president. Despite that, not really any pandering from them about that. Though things could easily change, especially since a lot of tech companies will have dealings with China on manufacturing. Except that latter point also applies to Intel.

Did they really take him saying coyotes as a literal statement? It's always been a term to refer to the people that get paid by families to bring their children across the border. I've never heard of putting kids in literal coyotes, and it honestly wouldn't surprise if they do. The things that people do to try and sneak across the border is insane.

Though I'm assuming that whoever said that has very little knowledge about what's going on around the border. Which has been pretty much the case for majority of people that think we're the bad guys for enforcing our border and immigration laws.

Pewdiecuck (played with poki before)

Is he still someone held in any esteem back on the subreddits? I know that you took some shit for hating on him, but I'm surprised that people still thought he was fine considering a lot of the things he's done in the past year-and-a-half.

That ship might've already sailed. Ninja going to Mixer or Pewdiepie and Dlive didn't change much in the landscape of livestreaming. Not in any long term deal at least.

It's the trap of moralization. Funny, since I just saw a video with Sargon where he makes mention of it when it comes to the formerly known as "Skeptic community".

Honestly, it's something that I've been against in this so-call community for years now. Not only was it tiring to hear someone say that they're not racist, or sexist, or whatever else the left said was a bad thing. It's playing into their side of the argument and like you said. It doesn't matter because they'll still hate you.

The same goes with that "they're the real racists" thing that some people do. I agree with them, but it's still going by what SJW's consider racist, rather than just what the term has always meant and should always mean. Like people are fine with pointing out that they seem to view nonwhites as inferior that need saving. And in a sense, that's kind of true. But that's just ignoring the type of people that these SJW's are, and that would be the fact that they're racist towards whites.

I think there's a fair bit more examples that I could bring up. The one that I take most issue with would be related to the response to false rape accusations. But that's something I would rather talk about in its own thread.

I feel that he was with GG because of the actual statement of ethics in journalism. For that I always did enjoy his video game impressions. Because he was honest, and even if I disagreed. That I never thought anyone was paying him off to shill or hate something.

As for politics. I think that most content creators are going to be left leaning. And I don't mean moderate or just left of center. Something about SJW's are really good at infesting and growing before you know it. I don't know if it's just because it's on "their side", but it's really telling that people who were perfectly fine with saying faggot or nigger or whatever's a no-no word these days years ago. That now they try to take the moral high ground of calling others sexist/racist/homophobic/etc.

It's shit like that, that makes me seriously question if those types of people even have any principles that they actually believe in. Instead, it seems that they just go with what they see to be popular. Which I guess if I'm talking about most content creators, that it's probably to try and be accepted by the community and getting subs and viewers.

I don't know if they're being upset because people are choosing specifically a white male as their character stand-in. But they clearly do not understand their fan base if they're surprised by this.

The Knight Commission says Division I schools with football spent $91,936 per athlete in 2010, seven times the spending per student of $13,628. Division I universities without football spent $39,201 per athlete, more than triple the average student spending.

That's crazy. It makes it even more insane that there was a debate some years ago about actually paying college athletes.

It's funny that when I think that BLM luck themselves into a situation where an innocent person was killed. (Though even from looking at it early on, it still didn't point towards the racism they love to bring up)

Out comes the evidence that not only did they do little wrong, such as not even doing a no-knock raid. But that she might not have been all that innocent to begin with judging from the evidence they gathered that lead to this raid in the first place.

This also toppled on the fact things such as a dead body turning up in a rental car under her name, or having a drug dealer for a boyfriend. Not to mention that said boyfriend claimed she was the one that shot at police before changing his story and saying it was him defending themselves from intruders. An interesting change when the public thought this to be a no-knock raid when it wasn't. Something that man knew about as he would later admit in court. Almost as if they were trying to curry favor in the court of public opinion.

I honestly don't care if I hear about someone getting shot by police. The overwhelming majority of the time, they more than deserved it. Not to mention that good luck getting any facts from any news.

Seeing the way people have acted when they complain about police misconduct. Those people are typically the scum of the earth, who act like what the internet calls "Karens" when dealing with cops. Yet they get believed because people just want to confirm their own biases that police officers in general are the bad guys.

There's way too much of this topic that would probably be better suited if I ever bothered to write a post here instead of a comment. I just absolutely detest all the BLM stuff going on in the world. It's exposed some things about people I had suspicions about. And honestly, I've felt that the ones that didn't go all in on crying racism and police brutality during the George Floyd were kind of limp-wristed.

GG itself never had a strong position outside of gaming journalism. And honestly, the whole "keep politics out of gaming" was never a good position to stand on. Mostly because it was hugely a centrist take on what was coming for gaming. Was it conservatives that were forcing their values in? Libertarians? In this modern era, it's barely even liberals.

It should've been, and technically always was despite the phrase, keep Marxism out of gaming.

Oh and it's funny that a lot of GGer's wanted politics out of gaming. Didn't stop all those surveys just to "prove" it wasn't a right-wing movement. Not that it should've matter if it was left or right, and all that did was concede that being right-wing was somehow bad.

And one final point. It's honestly disappointing how much people were going to side with those that signed that meaningless "cancel culture" letter. If anything, you're probably right that little has changed when it comes to what people here decide to back.

I'm not sure why #antifa & their media friends say @PortlandPolice are systematically racist and misogynist when the overwhelming majority of those arrested at riots have been white males.

His other tweet about discussing the point of why he posted these demographics. Of course, I don't know the demographics of Antifa. Where that and BLM supporters are going to be the ones getting arrested the most, since they're the ones causing all the trouble.

If we're talking Portland demographics, then blacks are over represented in these arrests. Not that I care or would call racist considering the classic 13/50 numbers. People can believe what they want, but the fact of the matter is that different races commit crime at different rates here in the US.

I won't speak on the the matter when it comes to other countries that have been graced with "diversity". And people are free to mention any of the many reasons that why this is the case. But one of the most ridiculous ideas that liberals have created the illusion of, would be that cops only ever go out and arrest blacks. It just couldn't possibly be that 99.9% of the time, it's very much deserved.

Inclusiveness is a noble goal

I don't really consider it to be a noble goal these days. But that's mainly because it's just turned into "getting whites out of certain spaces".

But even seriously considering it, I'm not so sure these days if being inclusive is all that great. I would imagine that camping is far different then DnD or video games. but whenever hipsters get into something. They almost always ruin it with their stupid politics and that "culture" they bring about. Those people love the idea of the thing they want to join. But then they see things they don't like and try to change it, which pretty much ruins it for the people that enjoyed it first.

That said, it is camping. It's a bit different compared to the other hobbies, so hopefully that wouldn't turn into a problem.

At the rate we're going. The word criminal is gonna be considered hate speech. It already happened with the term "illegal immigrant".

Admittedly, I'm not surprised that some of the stuff you say would break rule 16. Which I'll also add that there's a lot more rules on the subreddit there than I remember. So I'm glad that I've never bothered to try and use it since it went private. Even if I understand why they do because it's Reddit. Just all the more reason to jump off that ship.

That said, I don't disagree with you. But I'm sure that a fair bit of people do. Even then, I'd rather we just talk and discuss this type of stuff. It doesn't even have to be respectful, I kind of stopped caring about civility with how much it gets rammed down my throat whenever I'm on the normie places. It's much better than banning people so we don't "look bad".

Kind of like how people see the film "Get Out". So many people say how it apparently tackles the modern issues of racism in "Trump's America". Yet funny enough, that wasn't even the goal that Peele was going for. According to his own words, it was supposed to be about the "racism" from elite white liberals. The type about them holding up blacks on some type of pedestal.

Which makes sense considering the film is about a family wanting to steal and live in (Not sure how else to describe it) black bodies because that's they consider to be superior. Though I don't think he did much of a good job portraying that apparent message. The obvious reference to slave auctions scene being the biggest example.

It's mostly jumping on the "social good" bandwagon. Aside from things like racism/police brutality just taken as fact in a lot of liberal circles. Which I think to be the most common, at least here. It just turns into a literal virtue signal type deal.

I've seen it with a lot of things, at least considering YouTube, that most people here probably don't mind. Mainly because they aren't things that most of us oppose, myself included. But think about it, mental health was a big thing back in 2018. Moving aside the shady nature of the sponsorship deals with BetterHelp, it became the trending things to talk about. All of a sudden, you start hearing about content creators having burn out. Talking about fears of taking a break, or having depression. Pretty much near the same time.

Or last year with the #teamtrees thing. All of a sudden, people are talking about climate change, or "global warming" or whatever it called in the mainstream these days. Did people actually care about the environment outside of planting a ton of trees? It's hard to say, but it doesn't look like a lot of people took steps to changes aspects in their lives to use less energy or products.

This year, it's BLM. Next year, it'll probably be something else that liberals decide they care about then. It could be innocent, like what the ice bucket challenge turned out to be. Or it could be the shit we're seeing right now. This is just a pattern that I can't help but notice. And it's just too manufactured (and against my principles) for me to care to support.

I get what you mean, I'm also Vietnamese. Though from the sound of it, it's been harder on your life.

I think that a lot of people don't understand how long things have been the way they are. Or at least, the beginnings of it. Because it's certainly been around for much longer than Trump, or gamergate, or whatever led to anyone here coming to this place.

I think a red pill that most people, even here, have yet to swallow, is how shit journalism can and has been historically. I'd probably go eariler than you and point out the cover up of Holodomor.

Of course, there's probably plently of examples from before and after this that are rather small too matter in the long run.

When you bring up sports. It reminds me of one of the head coaches in the NBA who recently was fired. The report made it a point to mention that now left "only" 4/30 head coaches that were black. Of course, if you do the math, that leads to a percentage of 13%.

Unless they've been fire straight up. As in precisely straight up, which most people who shoot up don't do.Then it technically wouldn't kill someone if hit because of the lost energy due to gravity combined with the fact that bullets don't have that high of a terminal velocity.

That said, there have been reports of people killed as a result of "celebratory" shots. Which are pretty much the same thing, and are also illegal to do in most states of the US.

But more importantly. It's laughable how much people continue to simp for a guy that shown numerous times how much of a backbone he lacks.

  • I've tried to curate my Twitter to be exclusively about my favorite game and content creators, but even after muting about two dozen political words and phrases it's just a bloody shouting match.

Honestly, pretty much the main reason I don't use twitter. Even if I did, I would never bother to follow anyone I like to watch. I swear, I don't know how some people can be entertaining, yet somehow have the maturity of a middle schooler.

I'm in my mid 20s, and some of them are older than me. But it's like they don't think before they type and hit upload. At least speaking I can understand because it's mere millisecond from thoughts to words. But it takes time to type and then you have to take the time to press the button to actually publish those words.

In terms of the politics. I'm pretty much never one to bring it up with family. But I'm glad that if it's ever mentioned, it's not toxic at all. Like, no hate, no wanting to do dumb things. And I should also note that it's not one-sided. I do have family members that support Trump, myself included.

I hope that I don't sound like I'm pitying you or anyone with this going on. But it really does sadden me to hear the state of relationships because of these recent politics. I care deeply about the people close to me, so I really never want to take for granted how things are for me.
