A new law in California will force those who make more money to pay more for their electricity.

Under the new rules, higher-income earners will pay seven times more than low-income earners.

Here is the real funny part:

Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas & Electric, and San Diego Gas & Electric proposed a plan to charge customers based on income, not usage.

This was based on a new assembly bill that requires ‘simpler’ electricity bills.

"You want it simpler? Fine, pay more."

Frankly he screwed himself a while ago with a simple comment:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/newsoms-kid-lacks-vaccine-despite-mandate

Newsom initially told the Times that his daughter had "a series of other shots" to get first.

This got glossed over when it happened, but his opponents would sink him on mandating the shots for CA and lagging behind himself. That was the main one but he got caught a few times breaking his own rules. He could never run for President until they wait out the COVID backlash, because both sides would shit on him for all the mistakes he made.

Smart dude. He has a friend who is a lawyer, I guarantee this. Seems like fishing for the firing because he put them in a legally tough situation.

Their HR probably demanded it and now they'll have to settle if they are lucky.

Egypt is full of trash just like the rest of Africa.

The last time I was in Egypt there was a mass rape event. Because of their history the elite consider themselves 'European' but they are African in 99% of the country.

The elite, however, don't want anything to do with the common shit that comprises most of their country. It is like South Africa in a lot of ways, except more money and access to an incredibly valuable waterway.

Also they got a shitload of sharks.

I wouldn't recommend going there for any reason. Just stay out of Africa.

He's the American Nostradamus.

You seem to be under the impression that the Democrats want an actual leader in place.

I'm not sure why, they just want someone weak and stupid enough to take the bullets for them while they enrich themselves. Biden is perfect, and they have no chance of losing a rigged election so why would they choose anyone else?

RFK is just designed to disenfranchise right wingers and centrists, no other left wingers want to be a token asshole so they will let Biden go again.

TerpenoidTester 5 points ago +5 / -0

It'll be Biden again, of course. He's a tool, not a leader. The Democrats don't want leaders, they want tools.

Once you hold the means to win an election you want the weakest candidate possible in place. They'll run Biden into the ground and probably backdoor Harris in after 2 years.

He's got no chance. It isn't even worth worrying about.

Far, far too many skeletons in the closet. If anyone looks too closely at the recall election they'll find tons of discrepencies.

He's poisoned his past so badly that he'll never be a realistic candidate. You guys worry about distractions.

You are correct almost all job openings in Portland regardless of whether they are in health care or not demand proof of vaccination.

Hold on, /r/Conservative and /r/Conspiracy are both completely taken over. You can't use any comments in either subreddit to represent either group.

Reddit has totally subverted both of those places.

Beginning in January, after reviewing data that showed the number of late ambulances had skyrocketed, the county began tracking such calls.

Now WW has obtained a list of those calls, which the county refers to as “level 0 incidents.” There have been 5,063 such incidents between Jan. 17, when the county first began collecting the data, and May 9, when WW first asked for it.

There’s been around 10,000 calls for medical assistance per month, according to a county report analyzing data up to March. That means, by rough approximation, that ambulances have been unavailable more than 10% of the time this year.

In one instance documented by the county in February, the system became so backed up that dispatchers had 17 calls requesting medical help and no ambulances available to send out.

The county has declined to penalize AMR, despite the fact its ambulances’ response times were out of compliance with its contract. In a statement to WW last month, county health officer operations manager Aaron Monnig said the delays weren’t AMR’s fault.

“The pandemic wasn’t in their control, nor was the subsequent national workforce shortage,” Monnig said. “We’re working on different projects to help the system provide the right care at the right time with the right providers.”

My God. The total lack of personal accountability in Portland is insane.

I think if anyone saw her titties at her current age that would have the same effect on the male body as a vasectomy.

She's ugly as fuck.

If the court finds that the property belongs to the parents, this would bypass Tennessee Public Records law which has determined that the documents are a matter of public interest.

Uh, why would something that be considered relevant for public interest be given to anyone BUT the public?

Is this whole thing as stunningly stupid as I think it is? The families will also see it...when the public sees it. That's why the Public Records law exists.

illegal

It isn't illegal here. That's the point.

If you allow this to be normalized it sets a dangerous precedent for every state.

I actually did not even know there were more Torchlights after 2, so yeah I can't speak for those.

Torchlight 2 is stellar though. I don't recall a single microtransaction in it.

Idaho / Montana. Or if there is a God he'll release East Oregon from the clutches of Portland and that would be a paradise.

If OR and CA got split up the country would be much, much better for it.

There has never been a better time to get away with murder in the PNW.

There's probably a few active serial killers operating up here, literally every overdose death isn't being investigated as suspicious. They just chuck them in the morgue and move on. If you kill someone just shoot them up afterwards, congratulations no police investigation.

It is actually insane how unsafe the citizens of this area currently are. Can't even defend ourselves, any legal gun owners in the PNW are being hounded by the feds since technically you can't own a gun and smoke weed.

So the state allows murders to increase and the feds take away the only way to defend ourselves due to a technicality between state and federal marijuana laws.

So Oregon is essentially making it impossible to catch a murderer in the state.

The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office says it no longer has the capacity or staffing to keep up with record numbers of mysterious deaths, murders and autopsy requests. So this summer, much of the often painstaking and taxing work will be shifted down to local counties - some haven’t staffed a medical examiner for years.

Everson says the county received word of the changes this past February, spurring a whirlwind of planning to soon take on the work of determining causes of deaths, signing death certificates, and performing physical examinations of hundreds of bodies each year.

It comes as the county, in recent years, has dealt with a spike in deaths requiring more thorough investigations.

According to county data, since 2019, there’s been a nearly 40% increase in the number of deaths assigned to death investigators, and a 75% increase in cases requiring investigators to respond to death scenes.

According to Everson, some of the increase is tied to COVID-19.

COVID? Holy shit, they will blame COVID for everything aren't they?

Another big factor - drug addiction.

There you go dumbasses. mRNA shots + legalizing drugs + removing all punishment for open air drug use = this.

“We’re seeing a year-over-year increase in overdose deaths, typically tied to fentanyl, many of them are polysubstance,” Everson said.

The state medical examiner’s office says the changes will allow its forensic pathologists to focus in on the most important deaths, often tied to crimes.

Welcome to a new era: The police only are going to investigate "most important deaths" now.
