I would get behind that stance if they didn't, in a sense, take credit for the whole affair. Bolded and italicized for emphasis.

When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it. ” And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.”

Search by new posts, and you'll find it real quick... or don't and just take my word for it.

There's no harm in trying, I'm just trying to get it through to you that you are severely underestimating the gap between US and Japanese culture. There have been instances where East and West have clashed on the internet, and attempts at dialogue fell apart quickly due to significant differences in their respective understandings of how the world works (despite translation).

Case in point, when the Youtuber TotallyNotMark got all of his reviews of One Piece copyright struck in one fell swoop (talking dozens of videos here), all westerners in the comments saw it for the BS that it was, whereas all the Japanese commenters were straight up calling him a thief and a plagiarizer for making reviews without explicit written permission from the publisher (which in the US, where Youtube is HQ'ed, falls under "Fair Use").

He has since gotten back on his feet, but the whole ordeal left a sour taste in my mouth, and it should serve as an example of how much your average Japanese person will simp for faceless corporations (especially a juggernaut like Nintendo)

PatrikStar24 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, because Nintendo isn't listed on the NASDAQ (US stock market), they are listed on the Japan Exchange Group (Japanese stock market). Stemming from that, one could also assume that you need to be not only fluent in the language, but also their laws which can be either stricter or different (or both) compared to dealing with the US stock market.

Furthermore, even if everything was on the up-and-up (read as: greased the right amount of palms), and you did manage to buy enough stock to get in on their investors' meetings, the chances are quite high that you would never get to speak at all because they would rather commit seppuku than let 馬鹿外人 speak on their own turf.

someone has to @grummz and encourage him to ask people to contact nintendo investors

Extremely difficult to do when the investors only read and speak Japanese, a language that Google Translate badly butchers on the best of days. One would either need to hire the most dedicated of überweebs, or ideally track down a Japanese person who is fluent in both English and Japanese, in order to properly convey the message they want to send.

Because it is a form of Satanic Inversion.

Take something that is good/represents good, and do a complete 180 flipping it on its head to turn it evil. "Do unto others" (The Golden Rule) becomes "Do as thou wilt" (a Satanist oath), men sleeping with men being an abomination in the eyes of God (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:27) is now something to be proud of and strive for (California, and recently schools all over), and prohibitions on ordaining females as religious leaders (1 Timothy 2:12, 3:1-9; Titus 1:5-9) being tossed to the side played a large part in all the other nonsense gaining as much ground as it did.

Although the Capital C Church has been under an attack in one form or another since Roman times, ground didn't begin to be taken until the 1950s and 60s. The UMC (Methodists), PCUSA (Presbyterians), UCC (modern descendants of the Puritans), the Episcopal Church (ie American Anglicans), ECLA (Lutherans), the Roman Catholic Church, and to a lesser extent Baptists, have all fallen to what should be considered a successful infiltration by the enemy, and I leave it up to you whether that is a physical enemy or a heavenly one (see Ephesians 6:12).

This explains why Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 launched in such a sad state.

  • Same crappy launcher as the previous game (MSFS 2020) which is counted toward Steam play hours while you download the rest of the game. Thankfully, Valve sees this nonsense for what it is, and is giving out refunds regardless of play hours.
  • Unskipable tutorials, and no option to just jump straight into flying in the "Free Flight" mode (you have to do a walkaround of your aircraft every single time before starting off, which while accurate to IRL, still needs a bypass option in a video game)
  • the game (singleplayer with a completely optional multiplayer component) is entirely online only to the point where the in-game textures themselves are totally beholden to a fast and reliable internet connection… which means jackshit when the server side of this equation was underestimated by at least an order of magnitude (the devs apparently tested for 2 million players, but not in a way that would have pushed the servers in any real fashion, ie flying across the in-game world).
  • Relating to above, they also didn't allow for any preloading of the game, and unlike the previous entry, launched the game worldwide all at once.
  • Terrain in many places is bugged in extremely obvious ways (want to fly in middle of nowhere Nebraska? Enjoy the possibility of seeing a 5000 ft+ cliff jutting out of the terrain.)
  • Numerous simulation aspects of flying an airplane just straight up don't work (ATC is a common one, others have reported lights, flaps, landing gear, and so on either bugged or not working with certain aircraft, and flight models are completely off in certain aircraft as well)

It's not all bad, though. It's the first MSFS game to fully utilize more than 4 threads on a CPU (this is a good example of damning with faint praise if I've ever seen one).

Reminder that in 2017, there was a version of the Shakespeare play "Julius Caesar" where instead of the titular character/person being stabbed to death, it was Donald Trump.

Pardon me for going out of order.

My pastor also claimed only 1/3 of Christians go out and vote. If true, that's a real eye opener to me.

I've heard from others in my church's mens group that the divorce rate among Christians is alarmingly high, in the range of 50-60%. Treat this figure as unverified, but I personally believe it to be the case.

Jesus said that the Church is the salt of the Earth, but the modern Church has lost its saltiness.

Strong agree from me. Whether it was the hippie movement, Feminism, no-fault divorce, the welfare state, or other points much further back (of which I have many different theories), something happened that has resulted in the Church as a whole being completely neutered. This is further accentuated by the split between conservative churches (ie. real Christians) and the leftist "churches" that act more as literal Temples of Wokeness where God (let alone, the Bible) is clearly not welcome.

And USA has a lot of those long running series that somehow had good ratings despite no one ever talking about them like Burn Notice

They also air nonstop Law & Order: SVU, A.K.A. The Olivia Benson Boo-Boo Hour. It jumped the shark well before this point (probably somewhere around season 8 or 9), but it went full blown feminazi once the Elliot Stabler character got written out (season 13 onward), and is now one of those shows that just refuses to die (kinda like The Simpsons and Family Guy in a way).

This doesn't take into account real stinkers like the GamerGate episode, the episode with the Lauren Southern lookalike, and an episode based on PizzaGate (I didn't watch the whole episode, but you can make a good guess which way it goes).

They did this in 2020 and 2016.

As a former resident, the corruption there is truly beyond description. Take the worst stories you've ever heard coming out of this hellhole, multiply it by 100, and chances are it still wouldn't match what really goes on behind the scenes.

I don't declare blacks as inferior like I'm some Aryan king of the chosen whites descended from the lines of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, I've been judging by content of character this entire time, I've just been bringing it to its logical conclusion.

Rather, blacks show themselves by their own actions as inferior not only with how much crime they commit (and how they carry themselves and the mentalities they hold when they're not, see the recent Chase Bank money "glitch"), but the in the fashion in which they commit these crimes like what's posted above (or the Waukesha Christmas Massacre, or the story of a black man breaking into a couples' home where he proceeded to kidnap a small child from his crib and rape him to death and almost came back for the other brother before being spooked off, or the white autistic who was bound and tortured live on Facebook by 4 blacks shouting "Fuck white people, Fuck Donald Trump", and on, and on, and on...).

Radical Muslims do what they do in the name of Allah (Quran 9:29), whereas blacks seem to do what they do just for the sake of it whenever they're not doing it for "Fuck YT" reasons.

Finally, Dom. I grew up around blacks (and I can tell that you haven't), and out of the dozens I've encountered overtime, most of them either already have criminal records, are currently serving time, or are dead for reasons relating to all of the above. I can literally count on a single hand the number of blacks that I know which made a good life for themselves (one of them being from Africa). This is something I've had A LOT of time to think about having previously come from a far left world view in which I swallowed whole the ST:TNG, John Lennon, and proto-BLM Kool-Aid.

So get off your high horse, Dom, and reinstate his post, and hire more mods like you've been promising, so I don't have to see Pedo Pajeet shit up this board time and again both figuratively and literally.

Fuck off with this Reddit bullshit, Dom. You and I both know which demographic burned down Minneapolis in 2020, and which demographic saw a massive spike in crimes committed which it never recovered from.

It's not paranoia if it actually happened before, it's called pattern recognition.

If you'll indulge me one more time, I also recommend the soundtrack for Robotron 64 (N64) for the same reasons. The soundtracks really gets hardcore (for electronic music) as you get toward the later levels, as in you could take full advantage of a subwoofer when playing some of these tracks.

Alternatively, the PS1 version (titled "Robotron X", basically the same game) has a somewhat cleaner sound in exchange for most, but not all, of the N64 tracks being swapped out.

Drum & Bass has been the style I've listened to the most, although that has shifted slightly over time. [Examples]

If you like the kind of stuff you linked in this paragraph, then you would really like the OST of The Adventures of Batman & Robin for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, one of the few titles where the audio hardware was pushed to its limits.

The 3rd song in the list (titled "Big Boss") is basically 90s EDM or Techno, and will put out a lot of bass if you let it.

I'm surprised anybody else remembers this little indie-made game.

Here is a zipped file upload straight from my computer, if you don't mind this copy having a bit of save data (Sargon is close to fully upgraded, and all his weapons unlocked, all other characters are level 1 basically).

Edit: The creator had a link at one point, but it expired or was taken down.

PatrikStar24 2 points ago +2 / -0

So did I, Dom. Do the math.

A normally patriarchal society loses most of its men in an extremely bloody war that they themselves started (resulting in, among too many other consequences to list, the destruction of their main place of worship), and yet the survivors actively refused to marry outside the clan so to speak in order to boost their numbers back up in however many centuries even after being not just conquered but scattered across the known world.

So with their entire social order in shambles, and the Second Temple dismantled down to the last brick (something Jesus Christ warned about in Matthew 24:1-2, approximately 40 years earlier), what can they do? They compile the oral traditions of the Pharisees and Sadducees (among others) into a series of documents and manuscripts that would eventually become the Talmud, and completely shift their culture to accommodate for the severe shortage of men, ergo becoming a matriarchal society (which then leads to a whole bunch of other consequences that are outside the scope of this discussion).

The Jewish historian Josephus estimates as many as 1.3 million noncombatant Jews being killed in the Great Jewish revolt.

Let's assume for a moment that those numbers are inflated, and cut those numbers in half, bringing it down to 600K-700K (which is more in line with the claims made by Roman historian Tacitus).

Even if we assume that those numbers are also inflated, out of an estimated original population range of 1 million to 2.2 Million, no matter how you calculate the numbers, the demographics would be without a doubt beyond devastated.

That, and going on about matriarchal societies, while getting extremely defensive when mentioning a specific ethnicity that does operate as one (ie. Jews who, post 70 A.D., use their mothers as opposed to their fathers when determining ancestors because the Romans wiped out so many of their men in the Great Jewish Revolt).
