It's impressive that there were enough people in power at Sony who thought that this was it, that this was the product to stake everything on. Must have been one hell of an echo chamber.
Star Wars-like project for Sony
I mean, they got what they wanted. Except they overlooked that Star Wars has been circling the drain for quite a while.
system of toxic positivity
Typical DEI bullshittery. Diversity means you are ever only allowed to have the same opinion. No dissent allowed.
Basically a "how can he keep getting away with it?" article decrying that politicians like Trump are immune to the left's accusations because his supporters stopped believing them. Including the usual rehashing of "muh convicted felon" and Jan 6th.
I remember a few years ago my doctor had Nat Geo and similar local magazines in the waiting room. They're all full of leftist trash now. Even my local Nat Geo website here in Germany has an anti-Trump article on the frontpage.
I live in a socialist country that hates me for my gender, skin color and political views. They take most of what I make in taxes and then hand that money to anyone who is not a citizen or line their own pockets, while we get less and less for the healthcare, infrastructure, housing, etc that we pay for.
The more you work the more you get punished for it, while foreign invaders get everything for free without having to raise a finger.
So yea, fuck spending more than the absolute minimum effort. I'll take any day off that I can.
Yea, No longer allowed seemed interesting because the MC is .. different.
IMHO the CGI in Failure Frame is atrocious. Looks like one of the early 90s CGI cartoons on TV. Animation is incredibly stiff and cheap. Story seemed interesting enough to give a try though.
Reincarnated as a Slime is pretty great. Still only at season 1 but I love these OP main characters. If there's one thing I cannot stand it's when a single fight drags out over half a season. Looking at you Re:Zero!
Alya sometimes Hides her feelings in Russian is also pretty neat. Kinda cutesy wholesome and the art style is pretty.
I got too much of a "current-year vibe from Days with my stepsister, especially when they started going on about how gender is discriminatory and how men should be allowed to wear women's clothing and all that.
No longer allowed in another world and Failure Frame seem promising but I've been putting them off until the whole season is out.
Happened in an entertainment district. That usually means it's clan-related, i.e. foreign organized crime.
Edit: looks like I was right. Police suspect north african organized crime. Fun fact: they also firebombed a coffee shop in Solingen a few months ago, the same Solingen that had a Diversity Festival during which a muzzie killed 3 people recently.
Especially considering 3D printers have gotten really affordable. They're basically smartphones now where manufacturers release a new line of models every year and you can get a 1-2 year old used one for really cheap.
Is Helldivers still going to shit? Haven't followed it that closely. Guess my strategy of not buying games until they're 6-12 months old and on sale paid off again.
Quick look on steamcharts isn't looking too rosy: 30-50% decline each month: https://steamcharts.com/app/553850 Still almost 30k daily peak though.
IMHO the choice is more between free speech and mass immigration.
