One of Albo's big problems was Hubris - so will be interesting to see whose advice he takes in coming months. Penny Wong looks close to his ear. Dutton has called for a complete audit of the money spent on Indigenous services. Whilst the Activists have called for a week of silence. I don't think they're going far enough. Maybe they can try some hardcore activism and do a decade's silence.

As much as I hate commercial TV I always watch our local news - I just ignore the irrelevant stories.

The WA Heritage fiasco was a huge wake up call for lots of people. I know at my work alone it basically changed almost everyone from yes to no as we work in an industry that would have been affected.

They also had a post-natal abortion rate of >50% Before the British Arrived. So basically they would wait for the child to be born before killing it. And they didn't let it go to waste - they would eat the dead newborn. All well documented

Call her bluff. Move out - pretend to live on the streets for a bit. Any mum worth her salt will relent

When my wife was in High School she was a budding lefty and volunteered to go to the APY lands with 7 other girls to live with the Aborigines for a week. She came back the most racist person I know. It was a massive own goal by the organizers who thought they'd win people over by meeting actual aborigines in the wild. But my wife was submitted to constant sexist and racist remarks and genuinely feared for her safety.

Each camp had an Aboriginal Leader. The No Campaigns was far more photogenic and charismatic and considered everyone australian. The Yes Campaigns was a shrill harpy that thought no voters were racists.

I think a Missile strike would do more than behead the baby. Israel pretends to be 'holier than thou' by not getting its hands dirty by using long range weapons.

I could imagine Israelis doing it and blaming it on the palestinians. That's their MO

Could the downvoters, if not IDF shills, explain the downvotes?

The jews should have gone to madagascar but their prophecies and egos made them demand Israel

You've both gone off on a tangent. Go and find some Gaming Mags from the 80's and 90's - you won't find a woke comment - it was all about the games. Hence - "It wasn't always like this". I think Infocom Adventures have a better parse function than you 2

The jews believe they have a right to Gaza, West Bank Palestine - they've been planning the wipe out of the Arabs for ages.

There are many prophecies in the Bible that relate to the future Jewish homeland, especially regarding its geographical limits. Some of the prophecies are:

  • God promised to Abraham that He would give him and his descendants the land from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates (Genesis 15:18). This land would include parts of modern-day Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait¹.
  • God also promised to Isaac and Jacob that He would give them and their descendants the same land as He promised to Abraham (Genesis 26:3-4; Genesis 28:13-14). This land would be an everlasting possession for them and their seed after them (Genesis 17:8; Genesis 48:4).
  • God told Moses that He would bring the Israelites out of Egypt and into the land that He swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Exodus 6:8). This land would flow with milk and honey (Exodus 3:8) and would have boundaries from the Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines (the Mediterranean Sea), and from the desert to the river (the Euphrates River) (Exodus 23:31).
  • God instructed Joshua to divide the land among the twelve tribes of Israel according to their inheritance (Joshua 13:1-33; Joshua 14:1-5; Joshua 15:1-63; Joshua 16:1-10; Joshua 17:1-18; Joshua 18:1-28; Joshua 19:1-51). The land was roughly divided into two parts by the Jordan River, with nine and a half tribes on the west side and two and a half tribes on the east side. The land included parts of modern-day Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria².
  • God revealed to Ezekiel that He would gather the scattered people of Israel from among the nations and bring them back to their own land in the last days (Ezekiel 37:21-22). He also showed him a vision of how the land would be divided among the twelve tribes of Israel in the future (Ezekiel 47:13-23; Ezekiel 48:1-35). The land would have boundaries from the Mediterranean Sea in the west to the Dead Sea in the east, and from Hamath in the north to Kadesh in the south. The land would also include a special portion for the sanctuary of God, the city of Jerusalem, and the prince of Israel³.
  • God told Zechariah that He would make Jerusalem a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for all people who try to move it or attack it in the last days (Zechariah 12:2-3). He also said that He would make Jerusalem a praise in all the earth and that He would dwell in it as King over all the earth (Zechariah 8:3; Zechariah 14:9).
  • God told Amos that He would restore the tabernacle of David and rebuild it as in the days of old (Amos 9:11). He also said that He would plant His people Israel upon their land and they would never be plucked up again (Amos 9:15).

These are some of the prophecies about the future Jewish homeland, especially regarding its geographical limits. They show that God has a plan and a purpose for His chosen people and His holy land. They also show that God will fulfill His promises and His covenants with His people.
