You can get it done cheap with a Chromecast but you'll never regret putting a full PC to work here. I dunno what your budget is though.

I never run out of uses for my HTPC. It does everything I want, and has the flexibility for hardware upgrades if I want to push its gaming capability.

Social justice idiocy aside, the plan also calls for incentivizing home ownership for people who really shouldn't be putting that kind of money on the line. The exact same set of incentives are what led to the subprime mortgage crisis because the Clinton administration couldn't get it out of their heads that not everyone needs to take out a $250,000 mortgage. They learn absolutely nothing from history.

Ah yes, the high-minded leftist conceptualization of women: totally helpless, mindless automatons who live to obey the orders of men.

There's a realignment coming amongst working class of any race. Most people don't give a shit about identitarian politics, especially people who have families to feed. Democrats have completely missed this point and doubled down on critical race theory. It's a failing strategy long term. There was a time when blacks and women couldn't vote and gays couldn't get married. We're past all that. People aren't worried about their core freedoms being infringed, they want to make a living and be left alone. That's not what the Democratic party is promising, and Trump tapped into that pretty well. If he just stayed off Twitter he would've won in a landslide.

Republicans abandoned fiscal responsibility decades ago.

Republicans are going to rebrand themselves as the working man's party. Let's get the fucking government out of your way so you can do your job. That's a pretty simple message that even apolitical people can get behind. They're going to paint the left as big media, Wall Street, lawyers, wealthy elites, and basically every uppercrust asshole that we can all agree to hate, and they won't be wrong. There's your message.

Can't wait for "FUCK ALL COPS" followed by an injured protestor crying "CALL THE POLICE"

Be cautious not to die on this hill. Louisville was quick to settle for a massive sum. That just doesn't happen for no reason. Mark my words, they're covering for something. She was no saint but something went sideways with that investigation and it will come out. It's perfectly possible both sides are shitbags here.

Even if they walk, their legal defense has already cost them a fortune. The process is the punishment.

Admittedly I was losing consciousness by that point in the movie.

Yeah I dunno how anyone watches that movie and misses that the prey were right, and the predators still have a suppressed, violent nature. I also thought it was odd that predators made up exactly 13% of the population but committed 50% of the crimes.

Reminds me of how Zootopia's anti-racism message gets muddled by what actually happens in the movie.

I'm constantly surrounded by Jesus Saves signs, there's christian iconography on every street corner, and somehow I'm the one that's vocal about my beliefs? Bullshit.

Booker 14 points ago +16 / -2

You probably think this is true because most atheists you encounter are silent about it while a vocal minority are bitter about whatever religion they walked away from.

Get off Reddit. Get away from toxic people. Cut them out of your life. I did; I'm happier for it. I have one leftie friend now, and he's the most reasonable dude on the planet. We have conversations, disagreements, but never arguments. I enjoy my conversations with him more than I do with most people, because we learn a lot from each other and better hone our thoughts. Keep people like that close by, regardless of their politics.

Always going to be opportunities missed. I'm saying he had a fluid command of the facts and made forceful arguments with ease.

And speaking strictly from an optics standpoint, Biden looked like he'd been doped up on beta blockers. I hadn't watched Biden speak at length for a long time, and it was shocking just how frail he was.

Ultimately I think bad strategy and behavior by Trump ruined what would've otherwise been an amazing performance.
