No one designs schools to be schools. You have 600 bored students running around and the building is designed for 200 if they do nothing. The school district scrimps at every turn for those buildings so they pass inspection, but fall apart in a few years.

Places like Universal and Disney are designed to withstand crazy guests and have maintenance crews every night. It's a lot of work to keep things within the regulations the larger parks set for themselves. When people shift over to regular buildings they are always shocked at how low the standards are for buildings.

I bring this up because schools are designed to be replaced every 20 years. It falls apart on purpose and looks terrible within a year of being built. The designers themselves are special government approved agencies that have to go through a lot of extra work to get approval. That sounds great, but the reality is they design on a standardization system, not an actual design principal. This is why one of my highschools looked haunted, and another one was designed as a prison.

School lunches are the same. It's a lot of extra money for special regulations and mass use. There was a show where Jamie Oliver tried to build up an American school cafeteria and ended up making slop because of the regulations required.

Everything about school is the same way, standards, demands, high pay, slop. The teachers have benefits like insurance, but must teach that the wizard of Oz was a political metaphor. The better paying jobs require a master's or a PhD, and an ego the size of the building they work in. The money goes towards pet projects that make them look good, but deprive the students of any needed help.

Every time I read about pretentious artists I think about this.

MoveAI is about $100 a month and let's you use your phone to motion capture. Add in various AI programs and game engines, the indie teams can destroy the AAA when they realize what they have.

Laramie with all of the students in the town is 60,000 people. This is a huge town for Wyoming. I love the dinosaur and rock museum at the campus. Going up the stairs to the second floor sucks though because the place is 7600 feet above sea level on the ground floor.

The amount of people who use it as clickbait are far greater than the actual population. This should be considered a minority discrimination.

There are less people in Wyoming than gays in the US, and yet only one is considered a minority.

And Apple will buy Disney.

I don't know which one to distrust. A company that buys up IPs and companies and then squanders them for projects they aren't good at? Or the one that doesn't even know what to do with the majority of it's IPs.

I know. During the actor who shot his cameraman story, they all sided with the actor. As a former camera guy I have thoughts that would happen in game of thrones.

I suspect teachers persuaded them to do this. It's a flag fight, and they chose the wrong 'side' even though it's the same flag.

Some of my foster kids call me mommy because I hold them when they need to cry. I have to explain I'm daddy.

And in two weeks it will be about supporting Hamas, but screw those kids. They need to be offered up to political gods.

I mean, the sentence structure would be a shock for me in the first place. Also, I'm tired of my kids calling me mommy.

I need to rewatch. It's been a while. James Earl Jones showing up was my biggest shock.

Offices then use the same politics to make it even worse. It just takes 20 years to become a senior.

Too busy working on a master's degree and being a foster parent to get a hobby.

That's a must buy! I can't wait to see what they do with it. I mean, the last of us haunted house at Universal Orlando was so awesome I can't believe they could screw this up.

I think the monetary system is broken.
