This was Mark Cuban's response to Ted Cruz citing the NBA's pathetic position on China. Cuban had to specify that he was focusing on American civil rights because his league is still turning a blind eye to the far more egregious abuses committed by China. Meanwhile, the NBA embraces its future as a "global game" and holds camps and events right in China, so how is their behavior not within Cuban's purview?
Cuban also chastised Cruz for not supporting the three NBA teams located in his state because this behavior jeopardizes jobs. First of all, you cannot appeal to "muh jobs" if those jobs are currently undermining the nation. Contract killer is technically a job, but I'm not destroying the economy when I refuse to hire assassins. Second, nothing in our entire history has destroyed jobs like these unconstitutional and unnecessary lockdowns, which Cuban's side will not allow to end. His appeal to "muh economy" rings 100% hollow.
