I would argue that collage, in general, is making women less desirable for marriage and raising children for a very simple reason of debt. No one would want a older, indoctrinated harpy with debts that will delay or prevent buying a house or actually having a family. Instead, men will prefer younger women who are debt free (bonus points if the girl have assets, a dowry, or a nest egg already) and can actually do work around the house.
It has gotten to the point where if any young girl comes to me for advice on the future in terms of college and higher education, I would advise her against such things and go for trade school, starting her own business, or getting married right then and there after graduation. It would save her a bunch of money that would otherwise be thrown into a black hole and it will save her mind from communist indoctrination.
Take a bunch of young men in the "fighting age" bracket, leave them single or accuse them of sexual harrassment/assault/rape etc when it might have been nothing, push them out of jobs due to race, or the aforementioned misandry, then continue to demoralize and demonize them and their children in education and the media. Combine that with the fact that in the US, most gun owners are white and are racially the majority and you either have a spike in suicides, or a lot of very angry, very armed people with nothing to lose.
Seems accurate to my experience in that bracket around half a dozen years earlier. Personally, I coasted to that point. That came with a complete lack of motivation to do better and a lack of external forces to push for it. Between an absentee single parent and a school that only really taught me how to pass standardised testing, it felt rigged. The one time they did appear to care was when I laughed at a threat to call my parents. In 2nd year Sixth Form (optional education for those unfamiliar). Because I had a 12% attendance rate total. A month before final exams. Yeah, it's a bit late to care by then but it was probably more to do with the fact I laughed at the suggestion to begin with.
For the record, I did qualify (ABB on that attendance rate isn't bad) and didn't go for a year because I had no fuckign clue what I wanted to do. Never got the chance to see a Careers Advisor that everybody else supposedly saw (never saw anybody in that office, ever) and ended up picking some bullshit MechEng course I drank heavily through and never finished. What a fucking surprise.
My advice? Don't go unless you know exactly what you want to do and what you want that qualification to go towards. Even if it's a 10 year delay in going. Don't do it because you feel you should like I did, do it because you need it done to achieve something specific.
I suspect nothing is going to change until that number drops below 5%.
That's not correct. It's 9% of poor white males (Free School Meals is used as as proxy for poverty). For non-FSM white males, it's about 23%. However, two things worth noting:
Among FSM students and non-FSM students, white males have the lowest rate of entering higher education.
For every combination of race and FSM/non-FSM, males have a lower rate of entering higher education than females.
