And Mitch says "No."
Mitch needs a trench coat.
In the video it stuck me now how fucking annoying Hillary's demeanor is.
Always noding aprouvingly to herself at basically every syllable.
What does average liberal say about this? I know there is some hypocrisy on the Republican side but I can't see them having a leg to stand on in light of this clip.
They ask you what clip? After deleting your post and banning your account first. And then they'll probably put up a sticky saying anyone posting this non existent clip will be banned for hate speech/Russian propaganda/etc.
Are we still pretending that they can even process counter information? You should know by now that they can't. This stuff only works on the middle, the moderates.
My buddies said "both sides have hypocrisy but the Republicans made their decision while in power and now they need to be consistent and do what is in the best interest for all Americans".
Ask them why did the Dems install the nuclear option in 2013 then? Either they are blantantly stupid or so corrupt they expect only Reps to play fair.
"When I am weaker than you, I ask you for freedom because that is according to your principles; when I am stronger than you, I take away your freedom because that is according to my principles."
Well said.
Except even then, the Senate still did their job. They just didn’t consent to Garland.
Well the Senate did a vote to determine if Garland was going to be considered or not and decided that it wasn’t worth the time to do a hearing. The Senate didn’t consent to Garland so he didn’t get appointed. The Senate’s job is to consider the appointment not appoint whoever the President puts forward
I want tanks in Harvard Yard too, but these things take time.
Politicians are hypocrites, and I wish they'd just be honest about it. But I guess then they wouldn't be politicians.
Seriously, the principles are "it's alright when my side does it," and "I want to win."
They'd actually look less silly if they just came out and said it, since at least you wouldn't have clips like this, for both sides, every time it's suddenly convenient to take the other position.
What makes you think they would ever watch it?
I mean, the Democrats have every right to say that the Senate shouldn't hold confirmation hearings for a new supreme court judge or whatever, but, uh, it's not really their decision right now, is it?
did what?
