I must admit taking sports through identity politics was a good plan. Identities become crafted through sports as well. They can use the sports to promote more identity politics. People will still support it because they must rationalize not losing a big part of their identities that took their whole lives to make. People need to be able to switch off as early as possible or the damage will get much worse.

I seriously get the feeling that if it were possible to sit down with these people and show them the things that the mainstream media purposely obsfucate, that maybe a couple would be shocked -- but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
Many of these people.are not only incredibly busy, but also incredibly wealthy, too. They don't really have a reason to pay attention and live in a liberal elite echo chamber.
There's no doubt that there's several high-profile athletes and celebrities who do know what's going on, but even with their massive accumulation of wealth and status they still want to pretend to be oppressed.
Take Lebron for instance, the guy skipped college and jumped straight into the NBA. At no point was Lebron ever forced to go out into the world as an adult without financial security. From the moment he was 18 he was dirty rich, yet he somehow wants to roleplay that he has a grasp of literally anything the average person in America has to do to survive.
The only one I can't really blame is Evander Kane because it seems like a lot of the progressive referees and beat writers were actually racist to him. For example, he got attacked for playing badly after his kid died.
I think that's the craziest thing. BLM activated black ethnonationalists across the globe. A local issue concerning police reform in a single US city in a single incident became a rallying cry for black people worldwide to embrace the oppression narrative and push for reparations. How long was this seed growing?
