I've been saying that Canada is 5-10 years behind the UK for the past little while now. We already have huge populations of Indians, but a much larger population of East Asians.
That's just a temporary dopamine rush, though. They're not being held accountable for lying, at all. How many people saw that headline and believed it? How many people didn't believe it but clicked through anyway, giving them ad money?
The EU? Most EU countries don't really have anything resembling a functional military; Germany has effectively no navy and FOUR combat-worthy Eurofighters. Poland is decent but they're not exactly friends of the communists in charge of the EU, Britain is on its way out and seems more interested in self-destruction than anything else, so that leaves the French, and they're not exactly capable of projecting force either, they can barely keep their own country together. I mean I have no doubt Canada would roll over for a methed-out hobo with a stick, but the EU can't even get anywhere near.
