Then just go. Leave. Leave it behind and never return. If you can’t “fix it” then just abandon it.

But no. You will insist on burning it to the ground and probably prefer to lock every fan, artist and shop that uses it for fun and profit in the building when you set it ablaze.

So the first complaint is "these people have pointy hoods. Clearly KKK, racist. Also the artist used Hitler once, so clearly Nazi." I cannot even fathom that stretch. But even then, its called Invoke Prejudice. As in, if it was meant to be the KKK its still using negative terms to describe the action. Evil is allowed to be depicted.

Then they get mad that "white is good, black is not" in the color wheel, as if that isn't literal human instinct. I'm sorry that black folk share a name with the color of the night itself, but that's correlation not causation.

And then I finally gave up when "women are sexualized in these super stylized almost pulpy artwork, that's bad." As if that particular art style, and the 80s fantasy genre in general they were being created as a homage to, wasn't meant to be cheesy and over the top in that manner.

There is a good fix for that black and night. Stop forcing people to self-identify by their skin tone. Leave it as a descriptor, like weight and height, instead of a group identity. The first step is for the government itself to stop.

This is also why they didn't want the citizenship question. It makes people aware of their American identity.

The Magic : the Gathering color wheel is two-fifths racist

[..]This is a brilliantly innovative mechanic [..]. It’s just their bad decision to make two out of the five colors happen to be popular names for human skin tones.

White and black exist as good and bad in various cultures, not just white ones.

And the nerve to tell an artist what topics or things he is allowed or disallowed to make.

The mysoginist angle could have worked if you tried to calculate how many cards depict women sexualised vs not and group that by color (because of different flavour. Maybe black mana "evil women" are automatically sexual?). If you have a lot of steamy women depictions you could judge that the game tries to cater to horny dudes (who are certainly a demographic that buys MtG cards).

The pedo mat argument is retarded. Shun the people or treat it as any other sexual shit, but arguing that weebs are pedos is nonsense and won't get you what you wanted anyway.

Stupid article, I wasted my time reading and I want to vent.

This man (so called) brings his pseudo intellectualism of trying to figure out who the culinary were in battlestar galactica and thinks he’s smart enough to pontificate on sociological theories using that same fan style that he read on Facebook.

It’s BS.

First off white and black ARE COLORS - not indications of race. The only time you can actually being color into this is because Crayola called their “pinkish” crown color “flesh” which is an insinuation of melanin color! Notice the goof ball here doesn’t even realize he’s made a racial statement because he thinks only white and black count as race and NOT the “red” cards which have always indicated Americans (you May have heard of the “redskins” controversy?”

Secondly - the depiction of women is pop culture style, period. You need only go back to the early 1900s to see that FAT women were the desired ones (because they were healthy and matronly, skinny women were right out.) You’ll note he also glosses over the depictions of males where “heroic” men ares tiring and athletic and “evil” men are sniveling thin enough dudes.

As for the “everybody knew the card wuz raciss” - no. The card is not “raciss” the card is invoke prejudice and I will bet you GOOD money that the artist originally drew that picture as a klansman with white robes. A KKK member attacking people. What other imagery perfectly represents “invoke prejudice”?! But once it hit the editors that probably threw up red flags (there’s that color thing again) and so he changed it to dark robes to suggest it in clever fashion. At NO time does MtG say “prejudice is good” if anything the artwork maintains its bad connotations.

But alas, intelligence and cleverness and open thinking isn’t a hallmark of the SJW.

Lastly this stupid twit has been playing MtG from its creation. 26 years. Including the racist color scheme and card and over sexualized women and it’s all irredeemable from day one.

Cept he played it for 26 years.

No one is forcing you to 'fix' it. You can do other things with your life.

Don't worry, I'm sure their forthright and background-checked judges shall avoid the toxic pitfalls and shepherd the next generation of Magic players into a superior future of wokeness*.

(* Superior future ingredients list: Rape, downers, aspartame.)

Some people exist merely to destroy the fun of others. The biggest weakness of gamer "nerds" was their inability to properly gatekeep. They would take anybody who was willing to share their hobby, because let's face it, before this stuff got trendy the vast majority of people just laughed at nerd culture.

I really hope the next batch of nerd culture that's growing on places like indiegogo, that the people involved realize the mistakes of the past and be at least a little picky on who can get in, and who they sell their projects/business to. Be willing to sacrifice growth for integrity of the hobbies.

Penguin Pete? Now there's a name I haven't heard in a while. Used to follow his blog, he was always a blowhard, him going woke seems like a natural progression.

"Too Toxic to Ever Clean Up."

But enough about the lore and mechanics from the last 10 years, let's now move onto pushing away the established players by adding in SocJus!

What a titanic life sucking ingrown-hair on humanities' tender parts. He is:

A soul sucking joy-eater.

A crushing bore.

He who destroys all good that he can reach.

The death of parties.

Spawn of tedium.

Despised scold.

One who shows up unannounced at people's homes and rings their doorbells.

Even with a heavy beard his weak chin makes him appear like a beaver with a mouthful of brush.

He is forced to wear three paper bags over his head to avoid scaring small children --- Those he works with hope he switches to plastic bags but forgets to make air holes.

The code he writes makes the baby Linus Torvalds cry.

Github changes his name to 'King Choad the Limp Noodled."

To fap he hits his worm with a stick to make it mad enough to come out of its hole. It doesn't work.

He tried to use Chaturbate but the camera kept breaking.

The last person to see him naked gouged their eyes out, took a vow of chastity and joined a religious order. That was his mother.

[M:tG card artwork of women] gets really creepy sometimes when it wanders into hardcore BDSM territory.

Kinkshaming isn't very liberal, ya know.

Kill Bill is freaking retarded. I get that Magic is fantasy, but you can only suspend disbelief so far.

The whole "solitary woman taking on twenty men" theme is both new and dumb. You basically want to pretend like there are no biological differences any longer, as though men are not way stronger and women not more alluring and cunning.

I just can't dumb myself down to that level.

The color wheel is two-fifths racist?

I think that was a covert three-fifths joke. Someone write this article. Turn the SJWs on each other.
