Accelerationism is retarded in almost all cases. You just lose faster and with you cheering it on.

We’re already losing faster retard and most of that losing was done by republicans. It took an Obama to get a Trump.

The word "faster" is relative. Your comment above is dismissing the negatives of losing even faster than we are currently.

It took an Obama to get a Trump

Seems like three steps back, two steps forward. And that is being charitable. The best outcomes of Trump at this point have been a massive swing in the Overton Window, but until that changes actual realities in the country, it's purely academic.

Do we think the country can survive an Obama 2.0 to get to a better result afterward? Maybe it could, but could it survive in a form where it's even able to be saved?

And? The republicans before Trump were all larger steps back across the board.

And your alternative is? If you’re really trying to claim republicans aren’t more than maybe, maybe a 5 year speed bump you’ve lost the plot.

What threshold is going to be crossed that sparks the Accelerationist's desired revolution? Why hasn't anything up until this point sparked that revolution already?

Without satisfactory answers to these questions Accelerationism is simply cheering your enemy on as they kill you.

What safeguards have republicans provided? Why hasn’t anything up to this point sparked them into any action whatsoever?

Without satisfactory answers to these questions bending over for the GOP is simply cheering on your enemy as they kill you.

For us to "lose faster" would imply that we get a non-zero amount of wins under a Republican administration. We don't, so we are losing at the same rate either way. At least by accelerating, we will take the traitors in the GOP down with us.

As long as I get to see them hang before I do, I will call it a win.

The world isn't as simple as wins and losses. Reality isn't often that black and white. For example, is the current state of immigration, both legal and illegal, under the current administration a "win"? I wager we would both agree that it is not. But it is much much better than the numbers we had from 2021 to 2024.

As long as I get to see them hang before I do, I will call it a win

While this would provide a great degree of satisfaction, at this point I would settle for just fixing things for my descendants. Most routes involve methods like that but I can't be picky as long as the same ends are reached.

The Republican party has to DIE to clear the way for a better solution. As long as people keep electing Republicans we will keep getting liberalism at the speed limit.

I do agree that the GOP dying would be a great thing. But what does that look like in your mind? A third party coming up to fully supplant it? We would need much greater social control over the "conservative" movement to avoid an eternal purgatory where the GOP remains alive in a zombie state and we have total Dem control for decades.

From a demographic standpoint, any solution that takes decades seems like mission failed from my perspective.

Then support or non support of republicans is irrelevant. Because the repubs are going to demographically replace Whites with spics and patels, same as the dems. The only difference between them is who nominally opposes them.

I agree that accelerationism is retarded. You better be very confident that there's an angel going to catch your car before you drive it off a cliff.

I disagree that trying to hold politicians accountable is accelerationism. They're going to take you for granted if you support them no matter what.

I was never trying to imply that desiring accountability is accelerationism. It's pretty clear that the people in this thread are advocating for actual accelerationism, not just holding orange man's feet to the fire by comparing his promises to his actions.

Some people here may be, but the post you replied to was criticizing Republicans for not being good enough.

There is a marked difference between "I'm not voting Republican until they get their act together and actually offer me something" and "screw the GOP, I'm voting Dems so they make things worse and then we'll get something good".

This dilemma is real in Europe. The "center-right" (aka far-left) is slightly less bad on immigration, Merkel excepted, but they can also get more people to get along with their BS.
