The saddest thing is there aren't many if any young upcoming actors that can replace the kind of range he has.
All the old actors were classically trained on stage. That discipline is what made them great.
Today's "actors" are cast for their "look" and more often their skin color.

Even amongst actors I "like", I can't think of any who are truly great. Like the older generations. They're good enough, entertaining enough, but not a one makes me say "oh, _____ is in this? That's a must watch" like a guy such as Anthony Hopkins, Colin Firth. Ofc some may not agree with them either, such is art, but personally I love them.
Guys like Tom Holland or Anya Taylor Joy are just flavor of the month or weird alien eye candy
