The combat and the atmosphere/setting of Stellar Blade 2 are all right up my alley. But I'm done playing as female protagonists for now.
Maybe in a few years my mind will change, but even with the excellent looking combat animations and the mouthwatering environments, I just don't feel like playing as a wench in my high-def games anymore.
Most females who don't have garbage genetics literally look that young up until they are like 25. So apparently soyciety thinks any woman who doesn't look 30+ looks too young now...
I probably need the first one soon. I held out both hoping for GOG that won't happen and to see how Soulslike it was. That and well honestly I also get tired of the opposite idea that every game character should look like the cheapest and most titty altered whore in the world. But I think that was more of the followers than the actual game.
Maybe I'll get it this summer and then like it enough to buy the first one on launch. I love the finger to this crap. One of my favorite responses is Yoko Taro about Nier Automata and his comeback that was basically, organize and send me all the pics.
It's not really a soulslike, people just don't seem to want to play other games especially retarded zoomers, it plays more like Nier Automata and Bayonetta had a baby especially with the perfect dodges you'd find in a Platinum game. It's more like a Platinum love letter than the Souls games people love to compare it too.
Sounds good to me. Nier Automata is a top 5 game for me, not necessarily all from gameplay but atmosphere and weirdness, but the gameplay is fun too. I just don't have the desire for slow dodge, dodge, parry on this this going well, oh shit "you died".
That's good because Nier Automata was the main inspiration. There is a decent focus on parries and the gameplay is slower than you'd expect but it's mainly a hack n slash with some RPG mechanics tacked on, the parries are more like Metal Gear Rising in that it's used to build up your beta gauge. Typing this out now actually, it's clearly very inspired by Nier and Bayonetta but it's a mismash of many hack n slash mechanics mainly Platinum games specifically Nier (like Crimson Desert with action RPGS) that somehow manages to have soul despite not really having much an identity of it's own Sorry I'm all over the place with this but it's been awhile since I beat it and I had to fully jog my memory.
Thanks though. I've been very in the mood for that type game lately, so I'll pick it up this summer. I was about to replay something soon if I didn't get there. It's hard to get a read on those type games anymore.
No problem, yeah it is. It's not helped by the waters constantly being muddied by everything being compared to soulsborne. Kinda old having to sort through games and see people compare an open world action RPG to Elden Ring or a slow hack n slash to Dark Souls.
Well if they don't like it, then don't play it. Isn't that what they tell us when they infect and destroy yet another franchise we loved a generation ago?
Its not enough that they have DEI'd up great things many of us grew up playing or watching. They don't want us having alternatives. They want a monopoly on what we're allowed to consume, and of course absolute authority over those products. Because even they know their SBI-blessed slop is not able to survive a free market, even among their own woke zealots that cheer it on the loudest.
South Korean men are like the only men on this Earth who are holding the line against pandering to SJWs and women. And it's not easy for them because their country is heavily influenced by the West.
I wonder if the name will end up in court before release. Majesco doesn't seem like it's in the best financial state. Wouldn't surprise me if they tried to squeeze out a few dollars in a settlement. Of course picking "Blood Rain" as the subtitle on a hack and slash game staring a shapely woman in shiny skin-tight material who carves things up with at least one arm blade was a decision Shift Up made.
Edit: Apparently they already unloaded their IP portfolio to Ziggurat Interactive. But the point stands.
And that's why I'm buying their game day one. I will financially support anyone who transgresses against woke orthodoxy.
that's why donald trump is president.
i can't recommend it as a response.
Good point! To clarify: I'm buying your videogame if you transgress against woke orthodoxy.
I miss PT Barnum.
Im still not interested in stellar blade 1. However 2 Is in my wishlist since it's the DFO Fighter game I've always wanted.

She literally has boobs. Why is that some people can't wrap their minds around the fact that some adult women are petit?
Eve was pretty and elegant. Evie is more cute and tomboyish.
They're going harder on evie because she's a tomboy(ish). The bane of every troon and ugly bitter fucks.

Same here, looked for it on GOG, wasn't there, decided to hold out. I barely have time for games now anyway.
NOT THE JIGGLE PHYSICS ITS ANNUDAH SHOAH

Looks like Kotakuinaction. Never played the first but considering the next Metro is basically kiked I might have to try it out.
How was Stellar Blade anyway? I heard it was mostly mid-to-decent and hard carried by Eve.

I will still never buy a Steller blade game but I appreciate devs that take a firm stand against wokeness.
