Give it a few years and these same people will be praising the game and calling the character a strong and empowering lesbian icon.
They did it with Bayonetta and they did it with 2B. Hell, the genshin and zzz fandoms seem to change their opinions regularly on whether the games are sexist goonerbait or feminist empowerment.
