I don't understand what Angel Films was thinking. I held hope longer than most for this film because they are behind this. Disappointing to say the least.
They were thinking "The left might stop calling us Nazis if we pander to them, so it's worth betraying our supporters on the right since they will just turn the other cheek and keep supporting us anyway".
This is the same result we have seen over and over again when one side gatekeeps their institutions while the other side doesn't. The right wing prioritizes gaining the acceptance of the left over all else, including our own survival.
Inviting your enemy into your home never makes them your friend. It only makes their inevitable betrayal easier to pull off. It would be nice if the retards on the right would accept this already. Watching them constantly step on the same rake, only to justify it as compassion or forgiveness is fucking infuriating. They are willing to sacrifice western civilization for the ability to be sanctimonious about taking the high road. They should pull their heads out of their asses and take a look around for once, to see where the high road has taken us.
It's important to note that Angel took on public investment between back when they had integrity and now. This is not necessarily the decision of the people who founded the company, but the shareholders whom they allowed to buy control.
This is less about fear over being called mean names as it is a reminder to gatekeep your stuff because there are people, with tons of money, waiting for any chance to subvert you.
I recently watched their trailers for upcoming films and they all seemed wholesome -- aimed at straight White Conservatives. That was definitely a breath of fresh air.
If they have outside investors funding projects like Animal Farm then it's only going to be a matter of time before the miscegenation and faggotry begin taking root.
Is it just me or is it become a huge bummer to even hear Seth Rogen's voice?
His act worked in his twenties, because he was the super-casual stoner guy who was somehow wise beyond his years just by virtue of being the only guy who wasn't a ball of lingering teen angst.
But now it isn't working at all. Now he's just a weird fucking man-child. And hearing him cut a fart for five seconds and declare "that's the sound of freedom" doesn't make him seem like a funny frat boy. It makes him seem like a gross alcoholic uncle.
He was on The Boys last week, and I couldn't help but feel like it was such a bummer to even see him on screen. His persona just doesn't fit well with being middle-aged.

Does it help if you know that "The Sound of Freedom" was Angel Studio's breakout hit about hunting down child traffic rings and this scene is literally him taking a dump on the company that's distributing his movie?
It really did bring out the shills and that no big business is your friend, even Angel Films.

Very disappointing news.

Me too. I really am disappointed with them

Of course you watch the boys lol
Yeah, it's not a very good show anymore, and it seems to get worse every season, but it's the last one so I might as well finish it.
Seasons 1-2 were pretty cool, though.
Sorry, let me rephrase: you are gay.
Well that's certainly news to me.
So you think it's gay to watch The Boys. Let me ask you this: is there any non-gay television? What's your super-butch form of entertainment?
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy! It even has Straight right in the title, unlike the gay shit you probably watch.
Checkmate, faggots.
lol. I've seen that show a couple times. It is not very straight. Or good.
It is kinda sad how much everyone these days hates scripted television, movies, books, just anything with a story.
"Super-butch form". Everything you say and phrase is gay, even when I'm sure youre trying not to.
Go lift some weights.
lol, why? I'm a little old to be getting into fights, and at my age it just looks vain and drives women away.
Honestly, considering how many women gush over actual serial killers I'm not sure that's true.
You better be pirating it at least. No dollars for woke shit
He is woke shit, he's a faggot
Hey, it's my best friend peteypants!
Nah, I'm definitely not "woke." That community fucking hates me.
I do subscribe to the major streaming services because, you know, I'm not poor.
Every community hates you, you contemptible shit stain. And you are a liberal woke faggot.
Well, the first part is right. Every community does hate me. That generally goes for you too, of course, since we're both fellow pieces of shit.
But, no, I'm not liberal or woke. Also, a straight guy. I only like you as a friend.
Uhhh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh chronic weed cough
It feels like a "You gave us a black eye, now we're going to shit on you using your own money"
But for them, it'll be forever. For some reason, they can do that to you, but you can't do that to them.
Almost as if all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.
Wait a minute...
Orwell sums up modern leftist philosophy perfectly. it is not logically sound, and can be interpreted to benefit whatever the dictator wants.
Such a good book, and people ask me why I don’t care for adaptations now
What's sad is knowing we'll be having this conversation again when Narnia releases next year
Exactly
