The problem is those whores are being pandered to by the overwhelming majority of churches and Christians. This isn’t some isolated group, this is the majority of Christianity today, they have become obsessed with the words and how to manipulate them over the spirit and intent of the Bible.
Hot take, Episcopals aren't Christians and within a generation won't even pretend anymore.
If you think it’s just Episcopals you’re about 60 years behind reality.
Oh them and many others, but I'd say they're by far the worst.

Even worse, Unitarian Universalists, the literal direct descendants of the Puritans, have passed that point and no longer claim or pretend to be Christian. They are the ultimate in valueless, doctrineless, moralityless nihilism.
In fact the only part of Christianity they've actually kept is Original Sin. To be specific, White Original Sin. All others (LGBTQIA++, Trans, PoC) are manifestations of the Diverse Divine.

Then the problem isn't Christianity, it's churches who are pretending to be Christian to get all the Good that entails without working for it.
No, it isn't, these are not Christians, that's the point.
If those overwhelming majority of churches and Christians are pandering to whores and accommodating them with excuses for their behavior, guess what? They quit being Christians too. And it's not "the majority of Christianity today," it's the majority of Protestants today; who think strumming guitars and putting on staged light shows with "feel good" pep talks is "worship." They're lost too!
I don't think the majority are pandering to OF, FWIW. If they're really progressive they allow gay marriage.
Then the majority of churches aren't Christian. This is not unprecedented. The first two centuries were similar.
That said, there is a distinction to make between the majority and loud minorities.
