Is there more to this?

Auron Macintyre covered this in a recent podcast, the CRS is baked into the civil rights act so it's required to be funded untill the 1964 civil rights act is overturned. It was previously defunded, but it's not legislatively possible to get rid of it as it's built into the structure of the budget. (this is by design of course, it's not an oversight on the creators part)

The bill looks like a massive omnibus, you can't pass a budget without refunding this department. It needs to be manually and specifically defunded, but it can't be removed.

This is similar to the systemically mass import illegals, but they can only go out 1 at a time after due process. It's rigging the game in their favour.

Also, actually reading the section does it actually provide funds? or does it just allow the attorney general to provide up to 20 mil based on their say so?

For necessary expenses of the Community Relations Service, $20,000,000: Provided

This is the part that I am unclear on, what the grammar does to the meaning in legislative bills.

I will watch the segment later but I'm not 100% this is a resurrection of it.

Sure it is, new laws can amend current laws.

He obviously meant that you can't get rid of it from the budget without passing a new law to overturn it.

A new law, like the omnibus bill?

Yeah, they had a fine opprotunity to kill it for good, but Republicans instead sponsored it.

No I mean it's inserted into the mandatory spending.

That doesn't make it immune to being amended.

Might be necessary for the house of representative rules or something, but congress can pass a law that says whatever they want.

If they pass this, it is because they want it there or didn't notice.

The text of the bill: https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/6938/text

Just search for "Community Relations Service"

Previously it was funded at $2.4x10^7, with a total of 56 employees, but now it only has 30 employees. More money for those that are left.

He's really aggressively retarded (he freely admits he refused to vote for Trump with a really pathetic fake justification) so you're not really going to make any headway.

Such a retarded take too. Trump is a liberal faggot, but not voting for him means a woke leftist wins instead. I'll vote Republican until there's a viable alternative that actually represents traditional conservative values. At minimum, it slows the movement of the Overton windows to the left. At best, it starts pushing it back to the right.

Given a choice between a donkey leading a steady march towards a thousand years of darkness and an elephant who slowly marches in the same direction and occasionally takes a step backwards, I'd rather flip the damn table. The scam they call representative democracy requires consent of the governed to function. When trust in the institution collapses, so will the institution itself.

Then you don't understand how the world works and are part of the problem. This is why the left keeps winning. This is why they won the culture war. And why the control all the major components of civilization. We're fucked if it continues like this.

The left keeps winning because establishment republicans are leftists.

And if Republicans showed more support for right wing candidates and causes, there would be more room for establishment Republicans to pursue more right wing ideological efforts instead of appealing to centrists to get wins. The idea that letting Democrats have everything is some solution is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's also exactly what the left would do to sabotage any right wing growth.

The Overton window moves to the right when more people from the right are active in politics, social media and influential industries. The more representation the left gets, the further left the Overton window moves. Unopposed. If you sincerely believe that Republicans are doing the exact same thing as Democrats, then you've been manipulated to disregard what's right in front of your face. If you're waiting for the Republicans to be perfect, you're submitting to the left even harder. If you're actually just a leftist masquerading here as a right winger, then everything you're saying is right on track.

There are so many totally braindead psychic casualties out there right now who aren't mentally able to grasp the fact that there are two choices, either "gay race communism and the death of civilization" or "not thaf", and they get really hostile if you try to explain even basic things to them. LLMs are more human and responsive to outside stimulus than the guys countersignaling Trump now.

Our choices are between gay race communism on one side, and gay race communism plus subservience to Israel on the other. Republicans don't do anything to oppose or undo the gains of the Democrats because that wouldn't benefit Israel.

You are voting for gay race communism either way.

So a woke lefttist wins either way.

Overton windows

The correct answers lie so far outside of the overton window that boomers like you can't even see it. Supposing you are white in the fist place, since you are posting a 3 am.

No, a woke leftist doesn't win either way. If you think the left and the right are implementing the same gov policies, you're genuinely fucking retarded. Or lying. I'm getting the vibe on the latter. My guess is you are what you accuse. I've seen a hundred of your accounts in the alt tech space. And sadly, enough retards fall for your tactics, so you guys keep doing it.

Doesn't it ever get even a little tiring to sit around throwing tantrums about how the sky is falling and Trump is betraying all of us and imagining deranged scenarios where he does a full 180 reversal on everything you can actually see happening? It's really simple to be happy when things are good instead of going Eeyore mode and moaning about elaborate schemes where you're constantly being backstabbed.

The only possible people this could affect are boomers, as they are the last remaining demographic welded to their TVs. Once they die off, there won't be any broadcast media worth regulating, they all will be dead, even AM talk radio.
