But will they be crushed or will we just get months of headlines about protesters and federal agents wrestling each other while the Somali population grows and Ilhan Omar stays in office?

Then a few days after, Israel recognized Somaliland, a breakaway region of Somalia. I wonder if there is a connection there. It didn't come out of the blue, as Somaliland agreed to host an Israeli military base and to take in ethnically cleansed Gazans in exchange, so I doubt it was a reaction by Israel. But this primed the right to hate (rightly) on Somalia, and to say things like "LOLZ ILHAN OMAR IS MAD ABOUT ISRAEL RECOGNIZING SOMALILAND".
Somalia is maybe the only place in the world that would be improved by accepting Gazan immigrants. Anyone who has interacted with Somalians hates Somalia, no encouragement is required.

While the Somali situation may have appeared (to you) to come from largely out of the blue, out there in the wilder world, this situation has been percolating for years. The biggest thing people aren't prepared to accept right now is that it goes way beyond MN, MN just happens to be where the most blatant, uncontrovertible fraud was uncovered. There is definitely something strange about the focus on Somalis in particular. Yeah, they suck, but so do many other types of migroids. In 2024, the talk as all about Haitians in Ohio, for instance.
