Ladette culture was prime time for freedoms. Girls drinking pinks, coloured hair was a kink (Not a preliminary warning), chokers were hip and sex was liberating.
But, it seems "Girl power" won out in the end. Only that battle though, the war is eternal.

I had blue, purple, safety orang, striped hair in the late 90s/early 2000s and still have my several facial piercings.
