Because he is a republican. When a republican gets elected, they immediately ignore their base and start pandering to the left in some quixotic attempt to become popular with the "cool kids" on the left and in the media. Whenever they aren't occupied with deep throating Israel, anyway.
Back when I used to hang out on T_D, I would often see the claim that if the democrats lost just 10% of the black vote, they would never win another national election. Whenever I asked, nobody would back up the math behind 10% of 13% being so important, they'd just ignore the question and go repeat the claim in another thread. Also, nobody would ever answer why no major candidate ever courted the largest voting aged ethnic group in the country, White people.
They know jews are their handlers, and jews are overwhelmingly democrat and leftist. So they pander to them on those issues while trying to prevent any further right issues from coming to popular awareness.
Right wingers older than 40-45 or so simply can't grasp that leftists, black people, and first/second generation immigrants are never going to be anything but what they are. Even a lot of right wing guys under 40 have trouble really internalizing it.
I’ve tried to explain this to boomers for years in ways that might break through the lifetime of “one race, the human race” brainwashing they’ve faced, it’s difficult to get through to boomers, even when they’re republicans. I have 2 main graphs that sometimes work to wake them up though
The first graph I post shows how each of the various races rate each other from most favorable to least favorable. There were thousands of respondents involved in the study this graph came from, and Whites are the only race who view all other races as equals to themselves, while all non-Whites view their own race most favorably by a lot….and in every case, they view Whites least favorably out of the bunch. Boomers need to see this data to understand that other races aren’t race blind like Whites, they openly love their own kind and hate you just because you’re White, race matters a lot to them. https://files.catbox.moe/gu8ms6.jpeg
Then i show them the graph you posted, well, not the same one but it’s similar. I try to tell them that Whites are THE ONLY demographic who vote majority Republican, and not by much, while ALL other racial demographics vote as a majority Democrat, some like blacks vote a supermajority Democrat, then I follow up that comment with “and you know how much democrats hate everything about this nation, right? So why would you ever allow government to turn the nation majority Democrat (minority White) when you know it will erase everything you love about this country?”
Once in awhile they come out of the conversation understanding why race matters to some degree even if they don’t want it to matter.
The problem is Republicans rarely represent white people anyway. Dems neither. Whites just keep voting for people that represent nons and Jews.
Republican NeverTrump black DEI woman candidate is a case in point.
The patriot act killed this country.
This is just one of the consequences of that.
It was already on the downward trend.

Blue states have been hemmoraging reps, cons, and indps. With a voter base like that, they'd made for terrible neighbors.
Virginia is basically deep state central. Almost all of those minorities owe their (very comfortable) livelihoods to the federal government. The trans issue was enough of a threat that they broke ranks, but now that's presumably solved, they're back on the government dole.
