Its not high art and has a limited budget but since it it is a crossover production with an Indonesian studio, it has 0 faggotry and the lady is a solid 10/10.
No graphic nudity or anything since the studio is Muslim but she shows skin and the cameraman is very male gazey.
I wont spoil it but the writers stole from every space horror game made recently. Including Dead Space, Mass Effect and Callysto Protocol.
Ah yes, the latest direct-to-streaming sci-fi horror project. Sounds like it might be better than usual though.
Its not a masterpiece by any means but its still better than anything made by the small hats. And the people look like humans instead of androgynous gay blobs like the latest Alien abortion.
Solid 80s throwback soundtrack too.
What would you rate it compared to Pitch Black?
Now I can’t stop thinking about the idea of a person who uses the movie Pitch Black as a general unit of measurement lol
I resent the insinuation smh
I think it's a pretty good measure of a low cost original sci-fi IP.
Unironically you could use Pitch Black/Chronicles as a measurement of franchises evolution from horror to action between iterations. Could even add the third one in there as the "now minimal horror, just set ups for badass one liners" to it.
I like it. We've already got Godzilla Minus One as a unit of movie budget. Equivalent to about USD 12m.
Pitch Black is better because its original. This isn't, but it meshes the elements well enough.
I'm a sucker for Pandorum so if it is at least as good as that I'll be happy. I'll dive in blind and see.
