Went looking to buy an album I liked the other day, and literally could not figure out how to do it. The only things I could come up with was signing up for some subscription service, or finding it used at a second hand store.
A similar thing happened to me when I wanted to watch a certain movie. It showed up on Amazon Video but it was just "unavailable" with no reason given. Don't even know why they listed it in the first place. It also wasn't on YouTube.
I was willing to pay to watch it; but I guess it's only available on the high seas.
Every streaming service in the US will go out of their way to block VPN users, even if you're paying them a monthly fee. If you want to watch live sports and use a VPN you straight up do not have any option besides piracy.
Ran into the same issue years ago when I wanted to get my hands on the soundtrack for S4 League. Couldn't find a legit avenue to just purchase a CD so I gave up and just grabbed the mp3s off a link someone had posted on youtube.
I see nothing wrong with giving excessive sick days, if you want to virtue signal. "Men on average take 6 sick days per year. Women on average take 30, 2 per month for reasons unknown because men and women are biologically equal, and the usual 6. So we're giving 30 sick days to everyone." is a perfectly fine, if not exactly business-cutthroat, stance to take.
JUST giving sick days for periods, though, is discrimination. Not just sexist, but ageist, and ableist too. And transphobic! Lots of woke no-no words!
Cool. Then I guess you can't be mad when people pirate the originals for the OG experience.
As Gabe said a long time ago piracy is a service problem, not a pricing problem.

Can't even give them money if you WANT too.
