I never liked the concept of universal basic income, but it's parasocial/simp shit like this that convinced me it would never work.
Watching junkies turn down housing because it would require them to be slightly less brazen about their drug use is also pretty persuasive.
Or just having any firsthand experience with an Indian reservation.
I know people who flat-out tell me they would never work again if there was UBI, and repeatedly told me I should just use the fact I have limiting health problems, stop working totally ( I can still do part time ), blow through my life savings ASAP to be eligible for welfare and then leech off it till death.
Because that's what they would do.
And given how my country was basically stolen from my people by globalists flooding it with foreigners who can get everything paied by taxpayers, I don't think my oldfashioned idea of dignity makes sense now.
