I'd agree, with a caveat: Zionism doesn't really have a specific meaning.
"I think Israel has a right to defend itself" Zionists are at least reasonable. Even if I disagree that creating Israel in the first place was a moral thing to do, and even if it was founded by an ethnic Jewish criminal mafia, the people living there today have a right to defend themselves. With the amount of propaganda surrounding Israel that we are steeped in, it's completely unsurprising to me that some people are more sympathetic to them than they deserve.
That said, the "I think Israel has the right to run the world and ethnically cleanse their neighbors and everybody must defend Israel and any criticism of Israel is basically another holocaust of anti Semitism" Zionists are insane. And they're clearly the ones that are currently in control of most of our elected government.
They don't defend themselves. The Palestinians defend themselves. The Israelis have been slowly ethnically cleansing them since the beginning while regularly attacking every single one of their neighbors.
You can be the attacker in one scenario and the defender in another. They're not mutually exclusive.
The Palestinians are rabid animals that can't fit in any decent society and you will never see me cry about their extermination, but the Israelis are subversive, power-hungry, corrupting, greedy, infiltrating rats that are not limited to their own borders. Israelis are a direct threat to the West, with how much influence and political power they've managed to gain through bribery and nepotism, whereas the Palestinians are just primitive savages that are unlikely to ever involve themselves with the farther corners of the world, unless they are forced to do so by a greater force displacing them.
I have no obligation to support either side, and I can speak frankly about both.
Rabid animals that don't fit in any decent society, and their the defenders?
By your own concept, how would you call them "defenders" if you see them as wolves? You're breaking up your own argument, and this nonsense is why I don't ever take alt-right rhetoric that explicitly mirrors Communists, seriously. That assumes I'm not just actively talking to a Communist who's larping because in his words, "the lie is fine as long as it serves a tactical purpose".
Zionism, Fascism, and Liberalism have all been bastardized by Leftists themselves to the point where they reflect none of the definitions that they are based off of in vernacular use.
For Zionism, the term basically means "Israel as a country can exist". This is like saying Feminism means "believing that women are human", or that Communism is "believing that people should share".
Most Americans calling themselves Zionists are calling themselves Zionists based on this concept. They don't really even acknowledge that Zionism has a history.

Again, only Leftist narratives from the White Socialist brigade.
Tell Lebanese Christians that the Palestinians defend themselves.

Tell Lebanese and Palestinian Christians that Israel defends itself when it blows up yet another church with them in it.
I can't, Hamas & Hezbollah normally kill them and/or purge them regardless of what Israel does.
But hey, keep defending the honor of noble Islam. That's the only true way to defend the white race!
Agreed, but put your propagandized lens on.
I think that a person who has bought the propaganda can defend Israel on moral grounds, even if their basis for doing so are, unknown to them, lies.

Zionism absolutely has a meaning and it's "nationalism for me not thee, goy."
